It was kind of a wild Christmas morning here! I don’t know what it was, but I swear I have never seen the crew quite so excited about opening presents before. They were well spoiled this year, with one bag of gifts (including treats and one or two toys) each, plus the Pooch Party Pack I had wrapped and a special gift for the crew from One Dog Organic Bakery (affiliate link). See the paw print bag in the center front? That nice wrapping came right along with the festive tin full of Immunity Support organic dog treats.

The Pooch Party Pack was the special Thanksgiving box version, and full of many different treats all made by small USA companies. We had a little excitement when Luke stuck his head in the box, pulled something out of there, and went running away with it! Not only did I not know what he had in his mouth, but assumed there was still packaging on it and didn’t want him eating the whole thing, packaging and all (which he would do). He didn’t give in easily, but ultimately he is a good boy and let the Dadz take it away. It turned out to be turkey claw! No wonder he was so excited, he’s never had one of those before (there was also a turkey neck for later)!

We got him back and they continued opening their other presents. They each had their own bag.

There were a few toys including, of course, one West Paw Design ball and another ball from Planet Dog. In retrospect, we should have taken video, because it was hard to get any non-blurry photos out of this bunch!

I don’t know what got into them….was it too much being nice while waiting for Santa to come, and all the naughtiness was just waiting to bust out? Sheba stole one of Luke’s toys from him, and somehow Cricket got involved and all heck broke loose. Long story short….lucky for us, neither Sheba nor Luke want to fight (Cricket is the scrapper), so we were able to get things under control. After that, the Dadz took them all outside for some play with the new balls. Obviously there was some energy that needed to be burned off!

After outside play, they all settled down and either took naps or played nicely with the new toys. Here Luke is enjoying the Multi-Pet toy with two large squeakers (it has since had it’s tail and ears chewed off….).

I had also baked two kinds of treats for the dogs on Christmas Eve, and we ended our day by all having steak for dinner! The Dadz and I are on vacation this week, Sheba is back to playing, so they’ll be getting lots of extra play time, and we’re expecting a snow storm as well. Hopefully it turns out to be a good week and we’ll be ringing in the new year with lots of family time!
Don’t ever discount the temptation of a turkey claw. 😀 Looks like a wonderful Christmas, despite the little dust up.
Aww, wow!! that is so awesome you guys!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I can so relate. Seems with every Christmas that comes along, Harley has more of an understanding about the whole gift exchange thing. He’s become an expert at unwrapping gifts. Looks like there was a whole lot of fun at your house! Happy New Year my friend.
Happy New Year to you too, Cathy! ♥
It does my heart good to see Sheba active again and able to play after her latest surgery!! Callie-angel had been doing a good job of watching over her! ???? Glad y’all had such a great Christmas! Ours was quiet, despite Ducky’s vociferousness, and we really enjoyed just relaxing and watching TV all day, in between the few drier moments when the girls and I could play out in the yard.
Now that I’m all caught up on your posts, it’s time to cut off the TV and go to sleep. Before I tell Mr. Google what I think of him for putting those posts in the junk folder.
Callie has definitely been doing a wonderful job….please tell her to keep it up! 🙂
I am so happy you all had such a Merry Christmas-does that look fun!!! Joyous times indeed!
What a fantastically crazy Christmas you all had. Great photos of the dogs having fun.
What a wonderful Christmas!!
They sure did enjoy themselves!
No one’s head is in their own bag, lol!! Sounds like you all had a wonderful Christmas!!
A good snowstorm is the best gift we can hope for. They say tonight is the night, but lately, those weather people have been way off! Hope you all get some snow to play in!
You guys had a super Christmas, I love the bows on your collars. Have fun with the toys and don’t eat too many treats.
I am so happy to see how much they enjoyed Christmas morning. My boys got some One Dog Organic cookies that I had ordered and they LOVE them! I didn’t know that you were an affiliate so I will link through you next time. ♥ It is too funny that they checked each other’s bags out. I took a photo of Bentley doing the same thing to Pierre’s gift bag. They are just like children! LOL!
They definitely are just like children! Thanks so much for keeping my affiliate in mind for next time! ♥
Awwwww! It looks like they had a great Christmas! I love reading about what other dogs got for Christmas!
That’s our furry kids!! So cute
Snorts,

Looks like a great Christmas! Enjoy all your toys and treats.
Sounds like a perfectly wonderful Christmas! The pups look very happy! 😀
This all sounds like jolly good fun! Wish I could send Marble and Elsie over for some yummy treats.
Just like kids. They want what the other has….lol. We are supposed to get an ice storm today. Should be fun–not.
It’s so true! Luke has no interest in some toys, until Sheba has interest in them! And whatever Cricket has is THE most sought after!
Well I’d say Christmas was an epic WIN for everybody in your house this year! Looks like fun too opening all those bags of goodies………..we all get a bit “wound up” at Christmas…….it’s like a shark feeding frenzy. HAHAHAHA Glad you had a good Christmas and here’s to a SUPER DUPER new year too!
Love, Sammy and Mom Pam
oh what a fabulous christmas! to see such happy faces warms our heart much more than any coat, right?
You are absolutely right, Easy!
