This treat game was first seen back in April, when Sam wrote a Halo treat review, then again briefly in late June in our first cat mischief post. Sam referred to it as “that foolish cardboard box game.” That doesn’t mean we won’t still be bringing it out though!

Ha ha ha! What a character! I guess she had the last laugh!
And I’m sure she will never let me forget it! LOL
bahahhahahaha you showed her Sam!
I tried to tell her nicely….
Love, Sam
Lol! Love this DIY game idea! 🙂 I can totally see my cats revolting if I tried this and one of them might try eating the actual cardboard to get the treats out! XD
I’m surprised Sam didn’t resort to that….but apparently she found a better way. LOL
LOL showed you!
She certainly did!!
I guess she doesn’t believe in working for her food!
Definitely not.
We’re proud of you, Samantha. No cat should have to work for treats. 🙂
Thank you!!! That’s exactly my point!!
Love, Sam
LOL! Samantha showed you! That kitty’s an evil genius. (Oh, wait, Rita says all cats are evil geniuses!)
I think Rita knows what she’s talking about!
They are always too clever for us!
That’s for sure! We think we can outsmart them, but it usually backfires. LOL
Never doubt a cat on a mission.
Certainly not!
BOL! Well, if all else fails….
Whatever works, right?
I’ve been waiting for kitty to do that. My cat bro Bert would have killed that set up right away. He is aggressive when it comes to food.
Yes, I can imagine Bert wouldn’t have put up with that for long, and would figure out the quickest way to get those treats out.
That’s one way to get the treats out! Cats should never have to work for their rewards!! That’s strictly a dogs job, a cat is meant to be pampered and pampered well!! ☺☺
I think that is probably what she was trying to tell me! 🙂
hahahahaha!!!!! Clever kitty!!!! I have to be honest, I have not tried puzzle games with my kitties. I just don’t really think they would be interested, as they are not much for treats as it is. But I suppose the only way I will find out, is to try it! I think I will use this game! Thanks 🙂
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
It’s at least free to make, so you don’t have anything to lose other than a little bit of time! Let me know how it goes if you do try it. Hopefully you don’t get the attitude I was given….LOL.
I love it! I had to Facebook it. 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for sharing!
cat revenge can be wicked and frightening.
You certainly don’t want to turn your back on them for even a minute!
You have to admire that! Love Dolly
She made her point!
Well, that will teach you not to mess with Sam! That looks like such a cool game so I am surprised it got “boring” s quickly.
Happy Monday,
Oz
Samantha gets bored with pretty much everything very quickly!
I guess she showed you! MOL
She certainly did!
Amelia has a true passion for paper chewing and would adore that game… but all of our paper rolls for the next fifty years or so have been claimed by Leo. Life with pets is tough…
Does Leo use them as toys, or is there another purpose for him?
I have to keep that toy up on the counter because Luke loves those also, but now he’s getting to where he just eats everything paper instead of just playing with it!
