Almost…..
I GIVE UP!!!
Lately, Kobi just doesn’t want to open his eyes for any photos! Now, I swear, his eyes are open when I’m pressing that button to take the photo. But I’m apparently just not quick enough.
Kobi has been suffering with allergies this year, and his eyes have been a little runny and squinty. He’s been to the vets for a good look at them, and that is what they determined, as well as a calcium deposit in one eye which is normal for senior dogs. I thought maybe the flash was bothering him….
Nope…..this photo was taken outside, no flash. His eyes have been better lately, just a little runny; we’ve got some drops on order, and we’re going to try some local honey with the hopes it will clear up even more. Then we’ll see if we can actually see his eyes in any photos! In the meantime, yup, I give up! 🙂
Many thanks to our Black & White Sunday blog hop hosts: Dachshund Nola, and My Life in Blog Years.
LOL! He’s making you work for those photos, that’s for sure!
Maybe it’s a little revenge for making him work for treats sometimes, or something? LOL
Reminds me of my baby when I am trying to take pictures of her. I guess she closes her eyes when the flash goes off lol.
Even when I’m not using the flash, I think he is still anticipating it….the “click” must be his clue!
I can relate … there are days my eyes are “squinty” when I’m outside. My mom says I’m doing my beautiful eyes. Yes it is impossible to take photos but mom says it’s cute. Happy Black n White Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
It is still cute, your Mom is right, Sugar. I do love my old guy even when he’s not cooperating! Happy B&W Sunday to you too!
He has great timing! 🙂
I think he’s been working on that!
Well he’s still one handsome guy even squinting and with slightly runny eyes!!!!! Love his bandana………
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
Thanks, Sammy. I had to photograph his “good side” though, the other eye has been more runny!
Hopefully the allergies will go away soon. Still cute pics though.
He does look cute, even with his eyes closed! I don’t know how long these allergy things go on, since he’s never had them before, but at least they are a little better than when they first started.
thanks so much for the chuckle! That was too cute!
You’re welcome! Glad we could give you a laugh! 🙂
Poor Kobi! Hope the drops help. Those photos remind me of trying to get pics of my kids when they were small – either their eyes were shut, of they were just a blur!
This is the first Summer that allergies have bothered him, so we’re still trying to figure out what will work. Kids and dogs, they have a lot in common, don’t they?
That’s funny, because Charley will never even look at me when I am trying to take his photo….unless I have a treat. Otherwise he is all over the place. Great black and whites.
Thank you. The problem is that if I have a treat in my hand, Kobi won’t stand still, he’ll just keep coming at me! 🙂 Hmm…I guess I should have trained him better, huh? He wasn’t so uncooperative with photos when he was younger though!
I have my days where I am tired and am not real keen on opening my eyes but then I realize that if I just do it, mom will let me go back to my napping 🙂
I guess Kobi hasn’t figured that out yet, Emma. I think it’s a challenge as to who runs out of patience first, this time it was me! 🙂
Get well soon Kobi!! Donna doesn’t like the flash either!
Kobi says thank you! And we’re glad he’s not the only one!
