OK, it’s not really; I was just trying to get your attention! It is true that the Momz is gone on her annual Black Friday shopping trip, a two-day trip with “the girls”, but they weren’t in a frenzy or anything. As usual, the crew will be in the capable hands of the Dadz while she’s gone. We’ll just be up to our usual craziness and silliness!
Dadz did get kind of an early Christmas gift though, so I’m afraid he might be distracted a little bit. He really likes his new toy. We call it a toy, but it will be doing important work around the farm, like getting rid of our brush piles and covering our garden with wood chips for the winter, to help enrich the soil for next spring’s planting.
Maybe while he’s busy with that, I’ll do some stuff around here to help the Momz out while she’s gone. Even though she doesn’t have a job outside of the home right now, she works hard around here taking care of us animals, running the blog, and taking care of the farm. It’s the least I can do. Here’s a couple ideas:
Luke needs to learn not to be constantly photobombing when Momz is taking photos for our reviews!!
Next up, I’ll work with Sam on her “cattitude”.
Hmmm…that’s clearly not going to be an easy job! Maybe instead, I’ll have Sam show Luke how to play nicely with the birds (hint: that means not chasing them, Luke!).
OK, folks, while Momz is having fun shopping, eating and (psssttt….maybe even drinking some wine!), um, I mean buying us stuff, I’ve got a lot of work to do. Have a fun weekend whether you’re one of those crazy shoppers or not!

You are right, Sam really is pretty mild-mannered. She just doesn’t like to do her job of posing for photos very well. 🙂

She’s exhausted when she comes home! If we’re going to be exhausted it will be because of extra ball playing or a long walk. 🙂
