Luke likes to “help” in any way he can around the farm. When I was cutting some thyme to put in the nesting boxes for the chickens, he of course had to come out and help. The herb garden is inside his dog yard, and while some of the herbs are fenced off, my bed of thyme is doing so well I don’t worry about it. First, he decided a good roll in the grass was in order (I was too slow getting my phone to capture the full roll).
That seemed to wear him out and he looked like he was taking a nap.
It was a short snooze and then he had to see what I was doing.

Who can blame him? It does look like a comfy place to hang out! π
Oh dat does look comfy and I bet you smelled pawesome Luke!!
xoxo,
Matt & Matilda
And it’s much easier than getting a bath!!
Love, Luke
He looks very cozy and we bet he smelled wonderful!
π
Luke is quite the helper.
He as some unique ideas in that department. π
MOL! We like how Luke “helps.”
too funny! Maybe it’s like catnip with cats?
I never thought of that, but maybe he really is attracted to it! If only it would mellow him out….LOL.
It’s always good to pace oneself when helping around the farm!
He definitely doesn’t want to overdo it! π
The plants look so fluffy and nice!
It really does make a nice, soft bed!
Too much thyme on his paws? LOL!
Bwahhahaha – good one!! I should have thought of that!
Looks like a good spot!
As good as any – LOL!
I bet he smelled good afterwards, too. π
You might be onto something there – that was way easier than giving him a bath!
Luke looks as happy with the thyme as Soth was with his catnip! Such cute pictures π
Thank you! He’s an all-natural dog! π
You sure got the happy going on today Luke and we love your photos!
Thank you!
Nothing like a good roll in the grass – or the herb garden! Shadow and Ducky enjoy it, too! And I love watching them!
That sheer joy always makes me smile!
oh Luke you will smell wonderful tonight…like a french summer evening ;o)
we will smell good tonight too… we found pigeon poop, yay!
I’m sure he’d prefer poop over herbs too, if he had the option! π
