Look at the wonderful gift my friend brought me when she visited last weekend!! Connie is a very talented tole painter and makes the most thoughtful gifts. I have many other items she has painted; I may have to share more of the pet-related ones at another time!
One more photo, just so you can see the side of it as well.

That is so awesome, wow! Need to see it in person, wasn’t sure if it was lit at first, or just looked it! And yes, I also had not heard what Connie does referred to as “Tole” so wondering what that is actually supposed to entail. But just so lovely!
I think “tole” is just the old fashioned word for painting on things, or something like that (I did look it up on Wikipedia). I think these days they more call it “acrylic painting” which I think refers to the type of paint used.
That is such an amazing glow!!!
That is truly special!

That is such a pretty gift! Although we don’t know what tole painting is! Love Dolly
My friend told me “tole painting” is the old fashioned word for it, that these days they call it acrylic or decorative wood painting. I just liked the fancier word…LOL!
That is beautiful! I love that type of light.
