This photo was taken on Sunday evening. We had our most beautiful spring day yet. The dogs woke up full of energy and tore the house apart, then later spent a lot of time outside playing ball and just hanging out. It seems to have take a lot out of Cricket!

Now that is a photo of contentment! I’m glad she just sleeps on the fluff. Once it’s out there, Liam the pug tries to eat it.
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Luckily these guys don’t try to eat it. I do normally clean it up though….I think I left this for a photo op (or I was lazy – no, busy, that day). š
I can see how that could be tiring!
Cricket is all tuckered out!
I recognize that puff…I’ve done that to a dog bed or two… woof!
Oh My! Hope they didn’t eat any of that!
No, they are really good about not eating the stuffing now (I do normally clean it up though!). I do have to watch them though, they will sometimes try to eat the material and I always take squeakers away from them (if they get a hole in the toy, I’ll pull the squeaker out through it before they can).
Rope and stuffless toys are the norm in my house for that very reason!
I hate when toys explode! š
That is a cute picture!! Looks like a wonderful day for puppies!!
Oh no! The stuffie didn’t stand a chance. š
As a rule, they don’t around here! LOL
Cricket really enjoyed that stuffed animal!
Sounds like the types of day we are having here!
Regardless – looks like a really good nap going on! Thats a huge bed you’ve got there too!
Oh No, Mr. Bill! Are those your guts all scattered about? It looks like you might have had a tough day too, lol!
Mr. Bill has been dead for a while….LOL. The stuffing is all from the newest crab toy. My hubby named him Louie, but Louie didn’t live long either. š
De-stuffing toys is major work! Great job, Cricket!
I love this picture! Cricket looks so peaceful. (Are her siblings framing her with all of the stuffing around her head? I don’t remember reading stories about Cricket being the toy destroyer in the family!)
You are correct about that, Beth, Cricket was definitely being framed here! She does get in on the de-stuffing sometimes, but it’s always her siblings that put the holes in the toys first.
That looks like toy carnage. Hopefully it wasn’t a doggy bed or couch cushion.
Nope, it was a toy! These dogs have been very good about that, other than when they were puppies. I don’t think Luke ever even de-stuffed a bed or couch cushion (he did try to de-stuff the front of our couch once though). Our golden retriever Moses was the worst….he loved to de-stuff the comforters on our bed. It got to the point where we just had to take them off the bed when we weren’t home!
Love! Love! Love! Poor stuffie!!
They always say a tired dog is a happy dog! š Love you Cricket!
Such a cutie!
That is one very good dog.
Looks like a FUN day to me! Love Dolly
It certainly was, Dolly!
she’s so content!
hmmm seems not all were happy about spring and someone made a little snow :O)
Nothing better than a pooped pup after a day of play! Wow they really did a job with that stuffing. š
Haha, it’s just better with all the stuffing out!!
Happy Wednesday!!
Love x
Takes a lot of hard work to murder a stuffie – no wonder Cricket is pooped!
Hugs, Sammy
I’d say the toughest day was for the now dead stuffie!
