Luke moves around a lot at night; sometimes he’s on the bed with us, sometimes he’s on the floor cooling off, sometimes he’s on the dog bed on the floor. But he never looks quite as comfortable as when he is in the chair by the window.
Please excuse the quality of the photos – they were taken at night with my cell phone. I knew if I moved off the bed, he would move, so I did the best I could.
These were taken at three different times (you might notice we got a new cover for the chair).

I love the first photo, he looks so snuggled in!
He is quite the snuggler! I’d rather have him snuggling that pillow than on top of my legs which is his favorite spot when he’s on the bed with us. 🙂
Luke is a lucky boy to have such a comfy spot.
And the photos are great….they capture the scene perfectly.
Thank you!! He is a lucky boy, and I have to wonder why he’s the first dog to try out that spot (our cat Sam is the only other one that sleeps there).
awe look at him, he loves his chair.
And he does think it’s his! 🙂
Oh, so sweet! Love a contented, sleeping puppy photo!
They are cutest when they’re sleeping, because at least you know they’re not into mischief! LOL
That looks like a great napping spot!
It might be the best in the house….well, maybe second to the futon on the porch!
He does look comfy!
He knows how to get in there just right.
I always feel so conflicted when I find Laika in a nice and comfy spot – do I ask her to move or let her be? I always let her stay there but as soon as I sit down in another chair/couch/bed she jumps up and comes over anyways. Dogs are weird. Yours has definitely found the best spot in the house.
Yes, and at least if Luke is in that chair, that means he’s not trying to take my spot on the bed! They’re all good for that, and sometimes I have to wrestle them out of there. LOL
This is exactly why if you want the best seat in the house, you must move the dog first! BOL!
So true!!
Awww, he looks so comfy and content!
He certainly is!
Mr. N stole my cashmere sweater the other day… he also understands comfort!
As long as he only used it for warmth and comfort, and not to chew on! 🙂
We don’t allow any movement at all after lights out. We had to banish the cat from the bedroom for night stalking across our bodies.
Luke at least keeps the cats away….they don’t like to be chased in the middle of the night!
Sounds like our dogs, they move several times during the night.
Cricket is the only one who stays in the same place all night. Sheba gets on and off the bed too.
I’m a “sleepwalker” too, Luke :o) And I think you found a super place for the night… or the next minutes :o)
Ha ha, you are so right, Easy! He often does not stay there for more than a few minutes. Some night when I’m sleepless I’ll have to count how many times he changes locations.
Looks like a great nap place!
It’s very cozy!
He looks so content! Adorable 🙂
He definitely is! Content, that is, and yes, adorable too (though I might be biased). 🙂
Can’t say I blame him. That looks like a great little nook to curl up in and do all sorts of things, nap, write, ponder. I think he had the best spot!
You are definitely correct! I love to sit in that chair and read, with sometimes a little nap thrown in. 🙂
Looks like the perfect spot for him. Torrey moves around at night too. Thankfully the bed is not part of that routine. LOL She is a little furnace.
I wish Luke would stay on the chair all night sometimes! Cricket sleeps on Dad’s legs, but Luke and Sheba often have my legs pinned between the two of them!
That does look awful comfortable Luke good choice! Love Dolly
He knows what he’s doing!
Aww Luke, you are so adorable!!
Koda will do the same thing, he likes to start up on the bed with us, but then he gets hot (with all that husky fur, who wouldn’t?) and then he always moves his way to the dog bed in our bedroom, un til he finally reaches the bare floor, and decides to stay there all night.
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I can definitely see why huskies might get hot! Luke moves from place to place all night long, but almost always ends up back on our bed in the morning. I think he needs to be there to wake up Dad!
That looks like such a comfy spot! Happy WW
He sure thinks so! Happy WW to you too!
Sweet dreams puppy dog!
Thank you……Zzzzzzz….
I don’t blame Luke a bit. That looks like a very comfy spot.
Is it true that he jumps on the chair after you toss the extra bed pillows there and he doesn’t knock them off?
Sometimes he manages to do it without knocking any off, but not always! And if he hears a noise and jumps up to bark, all bets are off…..and I usually have to straighten things back out for him, including the ottoman. 🙂
Looks cozy! I wouldn’t mind checking out that spot myself, with the view from the window!
It’s one of my favorite places to sit and read in the winter!
That looks like quite the plush spot!
I think he found the best spot in the house!
