Contrary to what you see in these photos, Luke is not insane, I swear.
He’s just……enthusiastic….when it comes to catching the ball! 🙂
Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the Wordless Wednesday blog hop! Please visit other blogs through the links below!
Ducky gets “crazy eyes” too, but for her Kong Bounzer rather than a ball. Shadow loves her ChuckIt! ball, but doesn’t get that look any more. ????
I’m not sure the girls ever got that look, which is surprising considering how intense they are about the ball! These days they don’t really jump for the ball anymore though – I tend to keep it lower to the ground when throwing it for them. Truth is, Sheba can’t really catch it too well anymore. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with her eyesight or what, but she often doesn’t see it. If I get close to her and toss it gently she can get it though!
LOL he looks like he is having fun!
You are getting the most awesome photos, nice photography work, Jan-
Thank you, Lynn!!
He takes the old “keep your eye on the ball” saying very seriously. And it looks like he’s darn good at catching the thing, too! Maybe there’s something to that saying after all…
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
He amazes me….and sometimes scares me….the way he goes after that ball! 🙂
I agree this is impressive! I wish my guys were into balls as much as Luke is! It would tire them out more!
The only problem with Luke is that he has a short attention span. He’s only that enthusiastic for a few minutes and then he’d rather just take the ball somewhere and chew on it. Now Cricket is another story – we have to make her stop playing so she doesn’t wear herself out too much!
Haha! I love those crazy action shots!! I just love Luke’s personality and energy. 🙂
I love his energy too…except for in the evening when I’m trying to relax at my computer, and he still wants to go and go! LOL
Seriously great shots and great catches! Looks like a lot of fun.
Wow! Great action shots!!
That’s the best face! That’s the face of fun!
LOL! Your enthusiasm made me smile, Luke!
The second pic really shows his “enthusiasm”. Great timing.
What’s more impressive is that you caught the photo, great shots! Love Dolly Pees: Would my Yogapet fit Luke’s cage or be too small? If it fits I can send it to you.
His crate is pretty big 42 x 28, I’m guessing probably too small, though I don’t know what size the bed is? That is so sweet of you to offer though!
Nice catches!
Looks perfectly normal to me.
So cute, love the enthusiasm! Those crazy eyes look very familiar!
I love his enthusiasm! We are playing ball on today’s blog too. ☺
That’s a seriously good time!
He has the crazy eyes like my sister Bailie!
I think Luke and Bailie would spell big trouble together! 🙂
Love seeing an enthusiastic ball-catching pup. Both of my pups look at me as if to say, “you threw it, YOU go get it!” ????
I do get that attitude at times, but luckily not all the time! 🙂
Whoooa! Let’s play
Lily & Edward
Great shots and crazy eyes is cool, he’s having fun
Maybe Cricket’s enthusiasm is wearing off on him 🙂
That’s very likely – Luke takes a lot of his cues from Cricket; which is not always good! 🙂
