This blog hop is brought to us by Sugar the Golden Retriever. The idea is to share about something that made your day, week, or month, inspiring you in seeing beauty. Sugar was inspired by the See Beautiful blog.
November is not a month known for it’s beauty here in New England
The bright colors on the trees have long since passed
And fallen in the wind and rain
Now we await the first snowfall
Hoping for the white to blanket the ground
To erase the drab brown of the dead leaves and pine needles that cover it
While tree branches long for their barrenness to be frosted in white.
However, the beauty is still here
We just need to search a little deeper for it.
Here is some beauty that we found on our recent walks:
Also in our own yard, some flowers still hanging on in spite of the cool weather, and our barberry bush showing off it’s winter berries:
November can also have some beautiful surprises, such as an unexpectedly warm day which we all got to get out and enjoy.
I guess November can be beautiful after all! I hope you can find some beauty where you are!
Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Ruckus, I’m glad you enjoyed them!
There is always much beauty to see in nature ^__^ And we have the dogs to thank for dragging us out there to see it 😛
So true!! Dogs really know how to enjoy everything in life….we are lucky to have them to remind us to do that ourselves!
Wow beautiful pictures. I love the one with the red berries and of course the ones of the doggies!
Thank you!! I love that barberry bush…before the berries come the leaves turn a beautiful red and yellow.
What beautiful is seen in nature and in your beautiful dogs. Thank you so much for seeing beautiful with us!
Thank you, Lydia. It is such a wonderful hop, and gets us all to stop, take a deep breath and enjoy things. I love that it gives me more of a reason to share some nature photos, which I love, but have to limit on a pet blog! 🙂
Such gorgeous pictures! It looks like it is a bit chilly:)
Hope you have a fun weekend!
Thank you, Jen! It was warm when I took the photos of the dogs, but for all the rest it was chilly, and I was getting rained on some of the time!
Y’all sure did find some pretty things while you were out n’ about!
Thanks, Brian!!
You sure found a lot of beauty at home and afar. Thanks for sharing all those great pics with us!

Mollie and Alfie
Glad I could provide a little more beauty as a break from your rain. When you couldn’t look in the mirror, that is. 🙂
Thanks for sharing… it must be wonderful to take walks with such beautiful scenery.
It really is, we are lucky to live in such a nice area.
I think that it looks very pretty! Especially that pansy flower and the red berries!
Thank you, Ann. We’ve had a few pansies around the yard that didn’t want to give up this year, which was very nice when everything else was dying off.
Beautiful! And what you wrote is lovely as well. One of these months I WILL remember to join this hop!
Thank you, Jackie! I’ve only made this hop a couple times myself, it seems like I always have something else going on when it comes around. So this month I was determined!
So pretty! And what a sweet idea for a blog hop! I LOVE those unexpectedly warm days that pop up throughout fall… although, it’s sorta the opposite in Louisiana… I’m loving the unexpectedly cool days!
Thank you, Maggie. I also couldn’t wait for the cool days this year either. But once we’ve had a few, then the warm ones feel good again!
Minnesota is also rather drab this time of year, but you did find some pretty things.
I think you got some snow there, didn’t you? I bet that brightened things up!
these are fabulous!
Thank you, Caren!
Thanks for this beautiful post. I love november, it’s the time with the most interesting smells in the air.
You’re welcome, so glad you enjoyed it! We love the smell of the dry leaves and the crisp cool air too.
Very beauwooowoootiful!
Thank you, Ku!
We’re enjoying blue skies and sunshine – in between the rainy days! The photographs are lovely.
Thank you, Clowie. We haven’t really had much blue sky lately. We started out with sunshine and now it’s cloudy again today. In fact, when I took some of those photos I was being rained on!
YES November is our favorite month. Lots of Beauty while experiencing the change of season. My outdoor pool days is definitely over. Happy Seeing Beauty. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
I love fall, but usually enjoy October more than November! Our pool is getting put away for the season now too. 🙁
Beautiful landscape to enjoy a walk!
Thanks, Jim! We are lucky to live in a beautiful area.
November is Beautiful by you! So many little areas with a POP of color to brighten up the drab. It’s great that you found them before they were covered in snow!

Beautiful pictures, you did capture the beauty in all of them especially your gang. You said you would tear up at my Norman posts, now I am crying looking at your beauty. Have a wonderful day and weekend! Hug your gang.
Thank you, JoAnn. I am glad my photos touched you. I gave the gang hugs, and they said to send hugs to you too. 🙂 Hope you have a good weekend also!
