What kind of critter did it smell like? We only have lizards an frogs around here. Yawn!
It was either a mouse or a chipmunk! Those furry warm-blooded creatures probably smell better than your reptiles. 🙂
Oh no. Will we ever find out what was hiding in the leaf pile?
Only Luke knows for sure, and he never tells! 🙂
Uh oh! I hope that it didn’t get away after all that work (and fun)!
I think it burrowed itself in deeper but Mom wouldn’t let me keep hunting! She wanted to continue our walk, but I could have stayed there all day waiting!
Silly boy, oh what fun you were having.
I could do it all day if Mom would let me!
Must have gotten away. 🙂
It probably snuck out the back when he had his head stuck inside there! LOL
We think it got away…this time.
That’s right, next time….watch out!!
My dog is the same way…. always curious! I have a half-black & have brown labrador. He looks black, but in the sun, he is a beautiful brown. I think his daddy was black, but mama was definitely brown! He’s definitely a cutie pie! He’s definitely a good dog too! I gave him his forever home a few years ago. They came down in the price one summer and I was driving by and stopped & that’s the end of my story. haha, Have a great day and thanks for sharing your great pics!
That is a great story, thanks so much for sharing it! He definitely sounds like a gorgeous dog!
Looks like it got away. Better luck next time.
I’ll be back to try again!!
We wonder what it was! You’ll get it next time for sure!
Momz says next time we walk by there I’ll probably spend another 10 minutes trying to get it! I can’t tell her what it was though, top secret, right? 🙂
So cute!
Thank you!!
Oh nose we hope you found whatever it was Luke.
xoxo,
Matt & Matilda
I sure tried, but Mom said we couldn’t stay there “all day”. 🙁
That is just adorably cute! Maybe a mousie?
Most likely, or maybe a chipmunk. They seemed to be back out when the weather warmed up.
Good job Luke, don’t give up!
I wouldn’t, except Mom got tired of waiting for me and made me move on!
I’m sure something was in there, Luke and it got away. You’re to smart to be fooled.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Oh, it was in there all right! If Mom had just let me spend another 5…10…15 minutes looking, I know I could have got it! She’s so impatient! 🙂
Oh, Luke, thank you for the smiles and chuckles – just what I need this morning! Ducky says “thank you for making my Mommy smile this morning!”
We are so glad that we could give you a smile. You’re welcome, Ducky. ♥
Get It!
He sure tried!!
Nothing can ever fool our noses!
That’s for sure….nothing gets by you guys!!
what was it? a fox? a hedgehog? or is that a treaure from captn blackbeard under that tarp`?
If it was a treasure, Mom’s head would have been in there too! BOL!
We were a little scared about what might be under that tarp. Be careful nothing jumps out and bites you!
That’s what Mom is always saying!!! BOL
