Our blog friends at Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles have created this special day to remember all of our pets that we have loved and lost. We are sharing our “Rainbow Bridge Crew” today. Our thoughts are also with all the other pets we have lost over the years, many long before I started this blog. Canines Maggie & Shelby, so many felines I’m afraid I’d forget to name one, and birds and bunnies from when I was a child. Each one is dearly missed.
Please feel free to share memories of your special furry family members in the comments below. Bloggers can visit Zee & Zoey’s Chronicles to learn more about the hop, and there is also a special Facebook event page. Visit other blogs for their special memories through the links below.

These angles are super cute. This really reminds me of some of the old pets that not staying with me anymore. We need such a remembrance day sometimes to think about the beautiful and happy memories that our beloved sweeties brought to our life !!!!! Lots of love!!
This reminds me of my old pet who had been lost and passed away. How sad, I still can’t forget them.
We all need a Remembrance Day to recall great memories with our beloved pets. When I am typing these words, I really miss my first dog – Bear. He is my best friend for ever also. He went away 10 years ago but I still remember all about him. His name is Bear and you know, his fur is always warm and soft. Despite a “manly” appearance, he is very gentle to me. Every time I feel sad, he is always by my side. So, take care, my Bear!
Until now, I still can’t forget Nick – the very first member in my furry family. I still remembered exactly the way he looked at me on his last moment. We used to be best friends ever. Sad to remember but, still love this idea so much.
Such a great idea for Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Hope this occasion could heal my heart. I was in great torment due to the death of my friend Emma last year. I haven’t raised another dog until now 🙁
This is a thrilling idea to tribute our pets. They will be always with us. My heart broken whenever I think about my lost dogs and pets…
Beautiful tribute, they are always with us
Awe miss them. It is nice to remember but sad too.
Lovely – written from the heart!
I cannot imagine the day when I get to see all my old friends again – so many animals I’ve said good-bye to over the years that I’d like to visit with. I think it’s really great to see all these comments. RIP to all our sweet furry munchkins. XO
This has been an amazing day – visiting everyone’s blogs to read their “remembrance” posts……we hope you had some smiles as you remembered your anipals who came before……..they all made US better humans and we hopefully gave them the love they deserved.
Hugs, Pam
Purrs to you as you remember your sweet angels today.
*head bowed* to remember Conrad and those who left way too soon. xoxo
Sad to say good bye … precious memories. Sending you Lots of Golden Love. Golden Woofs SUGAR
Beautiful sweet tribute and remembrance of your precious babies.
That was a lovely tribute. We couldn’t do one cause it makes our hearts hurt too much.
Yay, your comment made it through!
Thank you, and I understand, that’s why my post is short on words – it was just too tough. I wasn’t going to do one at all either, but decided to at the last minute. But I had to keep it simple. 🙁
It is always so sad to say goodbye to our friends but it does feel good to see them again today. ♥
(((hugs))) and love to you as you remember each and every one of these precious sweet ones xoxoxo
We loved your post about walking Kobi the other day … it was nice to meet the others you’ve shared your life with.
We are so familiar with your lost loved ones because you honor them in your sidebar. Mom is thinking she needs to do that too. Love Dolly
Oh, she definitely should! I love seeing the old crew there all the time, and it always keeps them as part of the blog.
We remember those pets we have lost and our online friends as well. They are always with us.
Beautiful tribute to your angels at The Bridge.
Such beautiful pictures – each one tells a beautiful story of a pet dear to your heart. Love and purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang
Daisy said it purrfectly…I know I couldn’t say it any better. We all miss all our furry kids – and our furry siblings – as well as any other pets of any other type we’ve had over the years. And, like Daisy’s humans, my heart breaks any time a friend or family member loses a furry family member.
I sometimes can’t believe how I sit at my computer crying because one of my blog friends lost a pet. It just feels like really know them and love them, and of course our hearts break for those experiencing the loss, because we know just what it feels like.
Purrs to you and your Angels.
Sending our love to all our friends who have fur friends waiting at the bridge.
Our hearts always break when someone loses a furry family member. We certainly know the pain, having had dogs, guinea pigs, turtles…we felt the impact when we lost each one. No matter how small or what type of pet, we got to know each one so well; each had their own personality and special traits that brought them close to our hearts. We went a number of years before we got Daisy, we weren’t sure we could handle the eventuality of another pet crossing the Bridge. But she stole our hearts and we just couldn’t say no. We always say “we can’t go through this pain again”, but we’re animal lovers, and our home is always more complete with at least one more little member. 🙂
I know exactly what you mean. When we lost our first dog, Shelby, it was months before I could think about getting another dog. But the house had become so empty without one (even though we had cats too)! The joy they give us makes it worth the heartbreak we know we’re going to have later.
