When you can’t get flowers to grow, and all else fails – why not just plant a chicken?
Mama Rhode Island Red is as pretty as any flower!
The truth is, I kept trying to grow flowers in that wagon this year, but the chickens have had other ideas. They’ve been completely fascinated with it, digging up first the seeds I had planted, and then later almost all the little flowers that sprouted. I had it double fenced off for a while, but that didn’t really look that great either! I thought maybe they would no longer be interested in it since the soil wasn’t fresh, but I was wrong! I just hope those few zinnias that are now blooming can survive, but I guess the chickens have found a use for the old wagon anyway. π

Oh yes, I believe she is. π
At least if it was, I’d be able to find the eggs!
Haha awesome photos!
Thanks!!
That’s so funny! We have our kids’ old Radio Flyer and I was just telling Skipper that we could put flowers in it. Of course, we don’t have chickens so mine might grow. #Ihaveabrownthumb
Even with your brown thumb, I think you have a better chance of succeeding than I did! π
Awww…she is too cute.
We think so too! β₯
We hope that chicken blooms! π

What great shots and it does look like the chicken planted itself. So cute.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. β₯
Thank you!!
It sure makes for a pretty photo!!
It’s nice when the animals make it easy for us! π
See, just add a little Miracle Cluck!
Heeheehee, good one, Brian!!
That wagon just screams spa day dirt bath for chickens. I’m sorry your flowers didn’t grow, but you gave us some laughs today. π
I know, it’s almost like I’m asking for it, right? LOL
Oh my gosh, that made me chuckle out loud! Maybe she thinks that wagon is a litter box?
More of a dirt spa, I’d say. π
Ha, I love it!
Love the planted chicken decoration. Hope it stays for the rest of the summer!
Why go to all the work of planting flowers, or even buying yard ornaments?
What an adorable photo! Mama Rhode Island Red looks very happy there!
She was quite satisfied with herself, I think!
That is so funny! Maybe they think its a lovely new idea for a nesting box??!
At least if it was, I’d be able to find the eggs! π
