Our weather, like for many others, has been crazy this year. We had a rainy and cool spring, a cool summer with only one or two dry spells, and autumn is turning out to be rainy and cooler as well. We spend a lot of time outdoors, and all this crazy weather has taken a toll on the mats in front of our doors. Not only does Luke track in mud from our walks, but we humans are in and out all day long, tracking in garden dirt, fallen leaves, feathers, and….well, imagine 39 free-ranging birds and you might guess all else that can be tracked into our home from the farm!

Disclosure: Wag ‘n Woof Pets received this welcome mat free of charge in exchange for sharing this campaign. We received no other compensation and all opinions are our own. We’re happy to support this project during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
We live in a long, mostly one-level house, and we have 5 doors that we go in and out of! This was the perfect time for us to get a nice, new doormat. We were excited to get another offer from Carpet One Floor & Home for a new pet-centric door mat, with the added bonus of sharing their support for the 5-star Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The BCRF is offering hope for a cure for this awful disease that afflicts not just 1 in 8 American women, but individuals everywhere around the world. BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide and the highest rated breast cancer organization in the United States. Carpet One Home & Floor is partnering with them once again with five micro-collections of welcome mats to support their cause.
It was three years ago that we shared their Welcome A Cure collection for that year, and we still have that mat in use in our house! This year they have a collection of 22 bold and beautiful pink ribbon welcome mats, inspired by world culture, and 25% of the proceeds from their sales go the BCRF. There are two new pet designs this year as well, and the one we chose really says it all, we think.
You can see all the culturally diverse designs in their African, Asian, British, Mediterranean, and Scandinavian collections here: Welcome a Cure. While you are on their site, find your local Carpet One store to see where you can purchase one (on the top of that page). These mats are made in the USA, measure 2’ x 3’, and have a durable rubber backing. They sell for only $29.99 each. Here is a photo of the other pet-themed welcome mat:

Carpet One has also generously joined with us to offer our readers a chance to win one of these welcome mats for their home! Just fill out the Rafflecopter below to enter. The winner will have a choice of mats based on availability (you will make two choices from the mats shown below and get one of the two). It would be greatly appreciated (but not required) if the winner would share a photo of their pet with their mat on social media if possible to show their appreciation and help spread the word as well.

No purchase necessary. Giveaway is open to 18 and over US and Canadian residents only. Void where prohibited. Giveaway will run from Friday, October 11, 2019 through Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:59pm ET. One winner will be randomly selected by Rafflecopter and notified via email. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. Participants must read and agree to Rafflecopter’s and Wag ‘n Woof Pet’s Privacy Policy before entering and participating in this promotion. Oh my gosh! I can’t believe that I missed this contest. Those mats are adorable. We’ve had family visiting and then I watched the grandbabies for three days so I am definitely playing catch-up.
I am perpetually behind on everything, so I understand that! Sorry you missed out on a chance though!
i use welcome mats and i do have one that really needs replacing after all the snow its seen. ours is animal themed since its a deer.
Wildlife is a great theme too! Good luck in the giveaway, and thanks for entering!
We do use welcome mats at our house and we use all kinds but I don’t think we have a pet themed one.
Would sure love to win giveaway to get one though. I think if I won I would choose the Home pet Welcome mat. I like it best because of the pawprint and the neutral color.
I sure hope I win the giveaway.
Good luck, Crystal, and thanks for entering!!
We are putting the finishing touches on our back porch and fun welcome mat like these would be perfect!
The final perfect touch! 🙂
yes
I use a welcome mat, but it is not pet themed, but I would love to win this one for my house.
We have so many, there are some non-pet themed ones. I loved the owl one I had at the front door, but that one wore out!
We use entry mats at our house and would so love a pet themed one.
Good luck in the giveaway!
We do have a wipe your paws mat at our front door. These are so much cuter though.
I’ve always loved the wipe your paws one too. I think we still have one on the front porch, but it’s so worn and dirty, you can hardly read it. LOL
We use door mats at almost every entryway. Those mats are terrific…and what a great cause.
Two of my aunts are survivors, so I am happy to support this cause. ♥
Those welcome mats are so neat and I love that they are donating some proceeds to a good cause. So awesome! We’ve had some crazy weather this year, too!
Our fall is turning out to be almost as rainy as spring was!
We had several mats in front of and behind each entry door…3 sets=6 mats…but the lovely and naughty Benji ruined five of them…what a rascal! The only surviving one is well worn and in need of replacement. Great timing for this giveaway raffle:)
Oh no, you definitely need some replacements! I had to count as well…we also have 6, and we’ve definitely had many ruined in the past (at our old house they were a favorite place for accidents to happen!).
I have a small one at my back door with kitties and puppies. I would like to get a large on at my front door.
This one is really a good size, I think.
I absolutely love those door mats! Yes, this time of year sure is a leaf and dirt magnet without a good doormat.
Rain leads to wet leaves that seem to want to stick to your shoes!
Those really are nice looking doormats and I’m glad they are supporting breast cancer research!
It’s really nice to see them do this year after year.
We use a doormat to with so many dogs. They all are super cute and what a good cause.
We do use a doormat, it has flowers on it. I’d love a pet themed one.
We have a couple floral ones too…my second favorite after pet themed! 🙂
this is a great initiative and yep we use a welcome mat….our current one (a photo of dakota is on it) is pretty worn. These are nice and I love it is for a good cause.
The only thing better – a picture of our pets on it!
I’m in. If I win can I get Luke too? Never mind, I know the answer to that.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to handsome Luke. ♥
Nice try, though. LOL
We have one on the outside of each door(front and back), and one on the inside of each door.
With so many mats, you’d think we’d never have to sweep our floors! Too bad it doesn’t work that way. 🙂
I have a flower doormat on the front porch.
We have some floral ones as well….my second favorite kind! 🙂
That gnome one for the holidays is super cute. Mom says we need a mat to cover our entire first floor because we always make such a mess around here.
Ha ha, we practically do with all the throw rugs we have around here!
We LOVE your doormat and we don’t see any garden dirt, fallen leaves or feathers – just shiny and beautiful hardwood floors!
Trust me, it doesn’t always look that nice around here! 🙂
