We are joining SlimDoggy’s Resolve to Move Your Mutt Hop, co-hosted by Keep the Tail Wagging, which is going on all this week! The goal of this hop is to band together and help each other keep our resolutions, by checking in with each other each quarter. Our resolutions for this year are short, simple, and fun!
Kobi doesn’t care how cold it is or how much snow is on the ground, he still wants to get out there!
Cricket will also be doing stair running in the house when inclement weather keeps us inside.

Hmmm….that sounds familiar, now where have I heard that resolution before? Oh yes, that is exactly what one of SlimDoggy Jack’s resolutions is. Sheba has a crush on him and insisted on copying. He is quite handsome, so it’s totally understandable!
Luke has already shown us that he is smart and ambitious. He was here for maybe three days before he started climbing the stairs (still working on the going down part)!
Unfortunately, they weren’t letting the Momz off the hook in this thing…..
Just to show my dedication, the snowshoes have already been out! Look for more details on our plans later this week.
Happy New Year to everyone from all of us! Click on the Wordless Wednesday badge to visit that hop.

Lots of cute pics here. I just love all dogs.
Thank you, Jim! Me too!
What a wonderful list of resolutions. Especially if it gets you outside in the snow. 🙂
Up until last winter, the dogs and I pretty much hibernated in the winter. I enjoyed it so much last year though, getting out there in the fresh air and beauty really makes a difference in my attitude this time of year (and the dogs too!). We just need a break from these really cold temperatures!
Great resolutions! If Cricket has tips on learning to not be so reactive, Rita would love to hear them! (We’ve been working on that for a long while now… It’s slow going!) I need to finish getting our resolutions ready to post!
I’ll definitely share tips if things go well or if I hit on anything that works! Cricket is so intense, I imagine it will be a long road and slow going as it has been for Rita.
I like all your resolutions for 2014. Me and my mom have written about our resolution in my blog yesterday. Wag and licks from Laika.
Thank you, Laika, and it was nice to meet you and read your blog!
Very admirable to get out there in the snow…brrr! Good luck with those resolutions!
Thanks, we’ll need it! 🙂 I am much better at getting out in the snow if the temperature is at least close to freezing. It’s the cold that I really struggle with.
Hi Y’all!
Hope y’all have a wonderful, safe and healthy 2014 and beyond.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Thank you, Hawk! We wish the same to you!
All very good resolutions guys 🙂 I could probably stand to borrow Cricket’s resolution. Thank goodness I don’t need snow shoes to walk here… I’m not sure if I would be able to handle snow!
Thanks, Ann. It’s taken me a lot of years to convince myself to actually go out in the snow. I used to completely hibernate in the winter!
Those are fantastic resolutions. LOL about Luke going up and not down the stairs. That was Freighter exactly!
Thanks! I seem to remember it took our golden retrievers a lot longer to learn the stairs. Luke has started going down some of them now though!
You will get those resolutions done, I’m sure of it. Little Luke will learn so much from the other dogs, unfortunately, good and bad!
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Emma! We will just hope that he learns more good than bad from the other dogs! 🙂
Great resolutions for everyone! Jack is pretty pleased to learn Sheba has a crush on him as he’s kind of a ladies man. Happy New Year! Going to add your crew to our photo albums!
Thanks! Yes, I bet Jack has quite an entourage of admirers! LOL
We saw the crew on Facebook….thanks!
Happy New Year!
Great resolutions guys!! Love your pics!
