Luke got a new memory foam pet bed from Layla Sleep! It has become not just a place for a nice nap, but a complete hangout for him! It’s currently covered with toys (and stuffing from said toys), and tucked in a corner of our living room, where it’s become a safe haven for him.

We received our bed in the large size not long after Christmas. When hubby and I saw the box, we thought, holy cow, this is a big bed (there was no excess packaging, it filled the whole box)! Where are we going to put it? I had moved Luke’s crate out of our living room when we had company for Christmas, and we decided not to put it back. It was quite large and blocked light from the sliding glass door, and he didn’t use it all that much anymore.
The spot where it had been was perfect for his new bed, it tucks right in the corner without blocking any light. I think he loves that it’s more open than the crate was, and he can keep an eye out the window when he is lying there.
I love that this Layla Pet Bed* has options – it’s flippable for different firmness. One side is flat and firm, the other is textured, soft, and has more air flow. The memory foam benefits Luke’s joints; that’s important to me with his bad knees and as he ages. When I first put the bed out, I put the softer side up. Luke wasn’t interested, but as soon as I flipped it over to the firm side he hopped right on to try it out. Now he likes either side.
What else do we love about the Layla Pet Bed?
- It is super durable. Luke is one of those dogs that scratches his area before lying down. I cannot see any spots where he’s left any marks.
It didn’t take him long to give it the scratch test! - The memory foam is copper infused, which means it is cooler, more sanitary, and super comfy.
- The zippered cover is machine washable.
- The surrounding fabric on the bed is liquid resistant and the bed itself is liquid proof, water just beads up on it. Yup, I tested it!
- This pet bed is made in the USA and is certified safe for home use by CertiPUR-US. With so many questionable man-made materials out there, that’s important to us.
- Shipping is free (and quick at 1-3 days), the beds are guaranteed and refundable and come with a one-year warranty.
By the way, this bed is not just for dogs! It’s for cats or any pet you want it to be for, and it comes in 3 sizes. Luke’s large is perfect for his 60-lb frame with plenty of room for him to stretch out, or curl up with his toys. Heck, I think I might like to curl up in it for a nap! (Layla does sell mattresses for humans as well!).
I think this bed will be quite comfy for Luke in the summer, especially if using the side with more air flow. Luke really likes either side and I just flip it over every so often to give him some variety (when I’m cleaning out all the stuffing from his toys!). For him it is more than just a bed, it’s a place to take his toys to play with that is comfortable and good for his joints!

My pet would enjoy the comfort of the memory foam bed.
I am hoping to win this wonderful bed for my mother’s dog, Sally. Sally is actually staying with me for about five days right now, so I’m getting to spend some good time with her. She would benefit so much from a quality memory foam bed like this! Sally was a puppy mill rescue, and didn’t receive very good care as a puppy.
For example, my mom says that “she has a tendon that should have been clipped but I got her when she was 4 months old and that was too late. So her little leg curls. Most all of her weight has to be borne by the other front leg.”
Sally is a senior dog now, and starting to develop arthritis. I imagine that she would LOVE taking naps in this bed!
My little babe would probably stay in his bed instead of on mine.
Our little Miska Bear would benefit by being treated like the most precious thing that she is – and her little bones after a hard day of play, walks, zoomies and being cute would get the rest they deserve.
My pet always tries to sleep in boxes.lol it has to be so uncomfortable for him. This would be SO much more comfortable
I think our dog King will sleep in luxury.
My daughter’s dog would love this. She is getting about middle aged so it would be super comfy I think.
My dog loves a comfy mattress to sleep on as much as any human. So much that he keeps trying to steal mine. It’s be great if he had one of his own.
Arthritis has set in for our boxer, Lincoln. Layla memory foam would help him sleep comfortably.
it would certainly help with my girls since they are older now, 10,9 and need a nice comfortable bed. they like to share their beds, sleeping on top of one another. it would help with their joints, helping give them more support when they sleep,
My dogs a little princess and she would love a memory foam bed!
My growing 7 month old Golden Retriever has had her bed replaced 3 times now! She keeps outgrowing them.
I have three dogs and I’m sure they would love this! Two of them are senior dogs who aren’t able to move as quick as they once did and this would be super comfortable for them.
This bed would be so comforting for our boy! I think that it would give him great support.
This would really help Bo who is a Boxer and 8 years old. It’s getting hard for him to get up and down.
This would be the perfect comfy bed for my ageing cat! Thank you.
What an awesome bed, Luke! You are such a lucky dog!
I have my brothers dog, he is deceased. She lived with me and my cats before but they are a family, 9-10 yrs old and she cant sleep with them She would be close to us and it would be on an elevated platform
I’m so sorry for your loss of your brother, but so glad you took his dog in. ♥ This bed sounds perfect for her, good luck in the giveaway!
Thanks
Yeah, love the healthy look of this bed and zip off cover
This would be wonderful for my 3 year old hyperactive german shepherd. He runs and plays outside everyday and i’m sure coming inside to a comfy and durable bed to relax will be enjoyable for him. This bed also looks as if it’s made to last which is great!
My Layla is a senior and that bed looks amazing for her as hers is slowly giving in after I am not sure how many years LOL. I love the idea that is water proof, cover can be washed in the machine.
Layla woofs Mom I want a Layla bed BOL
My senior dogs would be more comfy on a memory foam bed.
I just got a corgi puppy named Ziggy Stardust. I bought him a bed but he has already outgrown it. He needs this!
My dog is 12 & has arthritis so a memory foam bed would be beneficial
This would be wonderful for my dogs. Especially on their joints. My dogs love to stretch out and one of them has some arthritis from luxating patellas.
My senior dog has a bad back & terrible arthritis . This would provide support and comfort for resting.
My little girl was a rescue and she’s is a senior dog, so I would love to make her very comfortable.
I think Colby would love this bed! He’s now getting to the age where comfort is very important to him (me too!) and this bed seems ideal!
My pup is getting old and wakes up achy. I think a memory foam bed would help him as much as mine has helped me!
I think a memory foam pet would be easier on her joints. She’s 12 now and she’s starting to slow down a bit. I think having her sleeping on a bed that conforms around her will really help with some of the stiffness she feels.
My Lucy is 10 years old . She loves naps still active but her hips bother her. Plus she is a 100lb germon shepherd. What a wonderful giviway. Thank you for this contest..
zeus has a hard time getting up the stairs and he currently doesn’t have a bed, we sometimes catch him on the couch! he would love to have some nice comfy place to sleep
My dog Dexter would love to have a new bed. He’s getting up in age to where he can’t get up on the bed so this would be just perfect for him.
Wow, that looks like a great bed and one that would certainly give super senior Sam a comfy place to lay his weary bones at night!
My dog has a collapsing trachea, and having her head elevated really seems to help. This bed sounds PERFECT for that!
I call Seedskadee my little Nester, because she is always nesting herself a little spot before she can get comfortable. I was excited to see this bed is tough enough to handle that and support her aging body.
Molimo has had two TPLO surgeries and now is suffering from hip dysplasia. The extra support would be wonderful for her bones.
My girl is 11 now, the leg that was broken as a pup gives her problems sometimes, the more support & comfort she can get the better she will feel.
This bed would be perfect for my cat, so dhe can stop shedding on my furniture 😂
Steel is nearly 15 and needs a little extra support. This would be perfect for her.
My girl would benefit from one of these (medium) beds because she is a senior Border Collie. Her older bones and joints would love a supportive bed.
getting a doggy soon!!
This would be great for my sweet girl, she’s not as young as she used to be and sleeping on our hardwood floors is rough on her bones!
Our boy Bailey would love this it would help his joint problems. Also our cat Jasmine has taken over his bed so he needs one.
This bed would be great bed for our older dogs who cant jump up on the couch any more
This would be great for my dogs. They need their own bed, not mine.
I foster senior and hospice dogs and a memory foam bed would help keep them comfortable.
It would help my dog sleep more comfortably.
He would rest better.
Alister would love it he is 13 the foa would feel so good to hi
It would be more comfy for my dogs, like being on the couch without having to jump up,
My buddy has had surgeries and has some residual orthopedic issues and a comfy bed makes a big difference in how he sleeps.
This would be great for my 11 and 12 cats, they would love the memory foam bed
Really hope I win that bed. My pet would just love it. water resistant in a comfy pet bed. What more could a pet want. I think my pet would like it and benefit her because she’s in her senior years.
A memory foam bed looks to be really comfortable and great for my pet. I think he would love it.
This will be great for my dog. He snuggles up with blankets, but I don’t think that’s enough for him. I’d rather have a bed in his house.
My dog is 13 and has a hard time getting in bed or chairs.
I have an older Lab who has some health issues and I think this would make her much more comfortable.
Would love to have a new bed for my dog, he could really use a new one.
looks very comfy with a great place to rest her head
My older dog has arthritis and the memory foam means she would be very comfortable on this bed.
I ghink my pup would love this bed. It seems to be versatile where if he doesn’t like the firm side, he would probably like the softer side. It gives him 2 options instead of one.
Wow, this looks like a super bed, so many awesome things about it! Love that Luke loves it, looks perfect for him!
Oh my gosh, I haven’t seen a bed quite like that before, I like the box effect. Memory foam would benefit two in my gang as they are 8 and 9 years old now.
He would benifit because he would not be getting pushed out of my bed
Bandit is a chubby little guy it would feel good on his bones and as cold as it is it feel warm and cozy for him and his furkitty siblings!
Luke seems to thoroughly enjoy his new bed!! I love that it’s water resistant.
We would LOVE to have a bed like this. Maybe not as big as Luke’s but a kitty size one. It looks so comfy.
That’s a great looking Memory Foam Bed.
How would a Memory Foam bed benefit my pet? Well my pet is a Seniorand because she is going on 14 years of age and sleeps more in different positions to get comfortable, I think laying on something soft could help her rather than laying on something hard. I also think this bed might be able to make her more comfortable and keep her joints from hurting as much.
I think my pet would like this. If I were to win I would take the size X-Large Pet Bed.
Hope I win.
What a wonderful looking bed! Benji & Dalton love to cuddle together sometimes, so the large size would accommodate them both, at a total weight of about 45 pounds…
Benji has long stilt-like legs, and even now at 1 1/2 years old I worry about his joint health…so the memory foam would be great! Thanks for a chance to win one:)
good luck to all who enter! That IS a great looking bed! Dakota has a different bed that we are quite pleased with …but…Dakota is also a dog who rarely uses a bed at all (think it is because of all of his fur, that provides natural cushioning lol) and Cody has way more beds than he needs.
That is a great looking bed.
The bed looks soooo comfy. Water resistant, washable, durable & orthopedic!!!!
A comfy pet is a happy pet!
Nothing better than having a great bed to nap on. You’re so handsome, Luke.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a woof woof Awww Monday, Luke. My best to your peeps. ♥
That looks like a really comfy and nicely made bed. I would love to try that for Sampson with his joint issues. He’s been using a crib mattress for a while, but of late, he’s stopped using that. I was thinking maybe another bed might be what he needs right now.
That really is a nice bed and thanks for the cool chance to win one!
I think my 14 year old could benefit because it would be great for his aging body. He can’t jump up anymore, so I have to have something comfy for him on the floor.
That looks like a real nice bed, Luke. Very fancy, yet seems comfy.
Luke that is a super place for hibernation… and it comes with sweet dreams, we are sure
What a beautiful new bed for you, Luke, and you look so comfy in it!
