Momz said I could tell you about my birthday! On Sunday I turned NINE years old! It’s hard to believe I was ever this little, isn’t it?
Mom and Dad had to go away for Saturday and Sunday to visit their grandson. When they got home Sunday evening I got lots of hugs and kisses and “Happy Birthdays”, but that was it! The old people were pretty tired from the long drive and the visiting. We’re not big on birthday celebrations in our house anyway, because we don’t know when everyone’s actual birthday is. So I didn’t really expect anything.
But I still got a nice surprise on Monday morning…I got my celebration then! I got a very special gift of my favorite thing!
Hmmm…what is in here?
Dad, help me!
Momz says “full disclosure” – whatever that means – she put treats in the bag so I’d actually stick my head in there!
Now we’re talking….we got to take it outside and play!!
YAHOO!! We had fun!!
We got to play for quite a while, but it was a hot and humid day, plus there was more rain coming so we had to stop.
Then I got my second surprise, a very special treat: PEANUT BUTTER FROSTY PAWS!!!
YUMMERS!!! Sheba and Kobi got to have some too!!
It was a great birthday, even if we had to celebrate a day late. Thanks for letting me tell about it, Momz!

Happy Birthday Cricket! Look what a cute lil puppy you were! And now so precious! Looks like you had an awesome birthday, especially with that Frosty Paw!
Thank you, Bren! Those Frosty Paws are pretty awesome, I’m not sure why we don’t get them more often! 🙂
Glad you had a great birthday celebration! You sure look different in your pup pic! 🙂
Hope you’re having a fun day 🙂
Your pal Snoopy 🙂

Happy Birthday, Cricket! You sure had a good one…even if it was a little late.
Thank you, Island kitties! Better late than never, right??
Happy Birthday Cricket! It sure likes like you had a fun time with your new ball and with the frozen goodies. Guess they felt guilty leaving you over the weekend. I have to say, we don’t do much here for birthday’s either, so you got WAY MORE than any of my guys (and gals) would’ve got. Don’t tell them though!
Thank you, Donna. Yes, that guilt thing can go a long way….but I think we’ve maybe started a new trend here for our birthdays too. Yippee…..cuz Sheba’s and Kobi’s are both coming up in October!
I won’t tell your gang, but you may want to rethink that and start doing more! Hee hee
A howling belated happy birthday! Looks like you had a good time and got a nice treat too!
Thank you, Emma! I sure did!

Happy Birthday Cricket! You were a super cute puppy girl. Looks like you had a nice little celebration there. Today is also my daughter’s 9th birthday!
Thank you, Ann! Oh, Happy Birthday to your daughter too, I can’t believe we’re the same age! 🙂
I bet she had a fun celebration also!
I’m so happy that I got to spend your birthday with you, Cricket!
Yeah, too bad you didn’t know it was my birthday at the time, Auntie Sheryl! I can’t believe Mom didn’t tell you ahead of time, and that you didn’t see her text that day! hee hee.
BTW, I tried to tell Mom that I didn’t get to play all day, but then you squealed on me!
I know, Cricket, I wish I’d known it was your birthday too! But I’m pretty sure I spoiled you just as rotten without knowing. 😉 Nice job trying to pull one over on Mom with the ball playing!
Yes, Mom says that’s true….we get spoiled every day anyway. Mom didn’t believe me on the ball playing thing, even before you confirmed it! 🙂
