We’re a little late posting about our May Pet Treater box, which had a theme of “Doggy de Mayo”. Around here we like a good pool party, so we decided to wait for our warm weather to open up the box and let loose the fun!
Luke checked out what he got in his box so we could get the party started. The first thing he did was to put on the “Let’s Fiesta Then Siesta” festive bandana that was included.

No party is complete without a clown! Luke took that right out of the box and then ran around the yard with it. Bozo the clown is from MultiPet, we’ve had many of their squeaky and noisy toys before and they are always a hit.

No party is complete without some games…..

and of course, fun in the pool!

Afterwards, there were plenty of snacks to be had:
- Pawsitively Gourmet taco treats, made in the USA with USA ingredients.
- We love the Your Pet Chef No Guilt Treats that are often included in the Pet Treater box. These chicken and veggie treats are made from all natural, locally grown ingredients 100% from the USA. They were in fun colors, but the coloring comes from natural ingredients like beets and spinach.
- Also from USA with natural ingredients are the Exclusively Dog Taco Flavor Jerkeez treats.
After sampling the yummy treats, they brought the games indoors with the Boots & Barkley rope toy.

As Luke’s bandana said, it was now time for that siesta!
Also included in this box were a Silver Tails hand held massager for senior cats and dogs (fidgety Luke actually loved it, so it’s definitely for young dogs too!). I love that the Pet Treater boxes also include something for the human, and this month I got this adorable Silicone Personality pot holder.
As the box says “Live Every Hour Like It’s Yappy Hour” – great advice to live by and one the crew is definitely on board with!
We love companies that give back; Pet Treater donates a bed, blanket, or toy to a local shelter dog or cat for every box sold.
Would your dog love a box full of fun?
Subscriptions start at $24.99 and go down to $19.99 for a 12 month subscription, and others are available in between. The subscriptions auto renew, but you can cancel at any time. They even have a one time box for $34.99 if you want to give it a try before committing. Once you get your first box, share a photo of your pet enjoying their new box, and Pet Treater will add a FREE item in their next box. You will find information on how to do that on a card in your box. You’ll also learn a little bit about one of the shelters that is supported through your purchase.

That looks like a fun box!
I need a bandana like that, too! I had company for several days and after I got them on the road this morning, it took all I had to walk Bar before climbing back into bed! Siestas are my favorite 😉
Great party going on at your house! What a great box too!
That looks like a huge box of goodies you’ve got there. Happy to see through photos how much you’re enjoying everything.
I did BarkBox once and it was fun to have Cocoa get a present and open all the toys and treats. You all have some fun stuff. I like the rope toys!!
It’s always fun to have the surprise and then watch Luke and Sheba have fun with the toys! (Cricket doesn’t play with toys much, unless they’re a ball – LOL)
When I have a little extra cash, maybe I’ll do a one-time box. The girls really have more than enough toys laying around the house. And then there are Callie’s stuffies that I can’t bear to part with yet.
Trust me, this crew has plenty of toys, but Luke has a short attention span and always needs something new! Our toy box is overflowing, and sometimes when they’re all outside I sneak in and throw away one or two rattier things.
You hang onto Callie’s toys for as long as you need too; I wouldn’t part with them either.
Those are some pawsome items in this month’s box. I love the bandana and agree 100% with its sentiments. I haven’t seen or heard about Bozo the Clown in years. Thanks for the memories. LOL!
I know – Bozo the Clown, right? We’re aging ourselves here when we remember him!
Luke gets all the toys doesn’t he! It looked like all the dogs had a wonderful time! Love Dolly
Luke is a toy hog, but often Sheba will steal them away from him! Then he looks so sad, I have to give him another one…LOL.
That is a massive rope toy! Most of our rope toys are only about 1/2 an inch in diameter.
I love the pot holder too. I admit, I was very skeptical with the first one I used, but now I love them.
I know, it’s hard to believe that that material will protect your hand from the heat, but somehow it does.
I’m not sure what’s inside that rope toy….I don’t think it’s all rope. I’m sure the crew will tear it apart and solve the mystery soon enough!
that’s a super box!!! and your pawties end the same way like the parties of my staff hahahaha… maybe that cute massager is for avoiding a hang over the next day?
