Those who know me best know that I am not a romantic. My husband has it easy….he doesn’t have to worry about remembering dates, or Valentine’s Day, or anything like that. We have been happily married for almost 25 years now, and this works for us. I know he loves me every day (and vice versa), so we don’t need special days to show it. However, I appreciate that others love holidays and anniversaries and such. I can especially get on board when someone finds a way to turn a romantic holiday into a way to do something good for animals.
That is what Ann over at Pawsitively Pets is doing. For the mere donation of $1 she will make a sweet Valentine’s Day card with a picture of your pet. At the end of the donation period (February 11th), a name will be drawn randomly from all those that donated. The winner gets to pick their favorite pet rescue or charity, and that group will receive the proceeds.
Just click on the above photo and it will take you to her page where you can follow the simple instructions, join in on the fun for a good cause, and get a sweet Valentine of your pet, like the ones she did for me below.
It only takes a few minutes of your time, and I got all of these cute Valentines for only $6! Just a little something to show love for our pets, and help out other pets as well.
Simple and sweet, and isn’t that what Valentine’s Day is all about?
We love what ann is doing and we were happy to contribute!
