Moses Evan Bear Keefe – October 25, 2004 – June 24, 2013
Our sweet Moses lost a battle with cancer. His passing was sudden for us, but we got to spend one last weekend with him, spoiling him and loving him. His surgery scheduled for Monday was hoped to be removal of a benign tumor, but he turned out to be loaded with cancer that was on his pancreas and everywhere, and there was nothing to be done.
We love him so much and miss him so greatly. We know he is watching over us with love as well.
I’m so sorry to hear about Moses. What a very difficult time this must be for you. Sending warm thoughts and prayers as you grieve for your friend.
Thank you so much, Coralee and Finn. It really does help to have friends that care and are thinking of us.
My heart is heavy and my eyes are filled with tears…Moses is free and without pain and his memory will live on with you forever
Thank you so much for caring, Gizmo.
I am so very sorry! This seems to be the week for sudden bad news. Please know that we’re thinking of you. I know so well that it isn’t easy!
I know how well you know, and how much you understand. I have been thinking of you also. I don’t know if you had seen my comment on your Facebook page….when you posted the first picture of Blueberry and said she had passed, I was shocked, and as I was leaving you that comment our vet called to say that Moses’ surgery had not been what we hoped for. A very bad day.
We are so sorry. We send you comforting purrs and headbutts.
Thank you….there is something so comforting in those purrs and headbutts! 🙂
Grammy & Grampa Withrow were VERY sad over your passing R.I.P. Big Moses give Big G a hug for us.
I hope those two boys are having lots of fun together. Thanks, Grammy and Grampa.
We are so sorry for your lose. Moses was such a beautiful dog. I know you have wonderful memories with him and we are sure he is watching over you. We are thinking of you guys.
Thank you so much, Finn.
What a great phot of Moses as a puppy…what a handsome boy he grew into also. You have many wonderful memories, put your mind to them and how lucky he was to have you and how lucky you were to have him.
Thank you. He was a very cute little fluffball! We definitely know how lucky we were to have each other, and that’s what keeps us going…..the good memories.
I feel lucky that I got to spoil him & love on him at times, too. 🙂 I love that puppy picture of him, btw. What on Earth did he have in his mouth?
He certainly loved his Auntie Sheryl! I know you favor the boys. 🙂
I think that was a piece of bark that he had in his mouth!
RIP sweet Moses! Now he can be pain free. Such a sweet and handsome boy.
Thank you, Ann. It is a relief to know that he is no longer in pain.
My heart aches for you….I am so deeply sorry. Sending you much love and sympathy ((((hugs))))
Thank you so much, Caren. I can use those hugs, so they are greatly appreciated!
Mom and I are so sad for you! The almost exact same thing happened to her last dog Trine but she was 10. It still makes mom cry. He was a beautiful boy and will now run free! Our thoughts are with you. Emma and her mom
Thank you so much to you and your Mom, Emma, for all of your kind comments and support throughout this. It does help to know that others understand the pain we are going through.
So sorry for your loss, Jan (& Tom). I’ve already told you this, but I’ll repeat it. You gave him a beautiful life. He was a very lucky dog. 🙂
Thank you, Sheryl. And we were lucky to have him also. 🙂
It was a joy to spoil him!
