It’s difficult to believe that according to the calendar, it’s still autumn here in New England; because it looks and feels like we’re smack dab in the middle of winter. We weren’t quite ready yet! It’s not all bad though, I mentioned before that Luke and I recently took a very nice walk in the woods during a snowstorm. It was so peaceful and quiet and there were not even any tracks in the snow except the ones we were making. The wildlife was obviously hunkered down for the storm. Normally when we walk, we can hear our own birds back at the house squawking or carrying on, but they were staying in the coop quietly as well! The temperature hovered around freezing, and since we’ve been having some pretty cold weather, especially for our morning walks, that and the snow already on the ground made it feel warmer I think. The trees and everything around us were covered with snow and it was simply beautiful. We hope you enjoy a glimpse into our wonderland through the photos below!

Ready or not, it looks like winter might be here to stay!
It is so beautiful but I am cold just looking at the pictures 😉 LOL Glad ya’ll had fun!

Bell Fur Zoo Mama
As long as we dress properly, it’s not so bad. Well, as long as it stays above at least 20 degrees. 🙂
xxoo
Wowzers, winter wonder land. Very pretty!
So unexpected in November here, but we are making the best of it (Luke doesn’t seem to mind a bit)!
Such a beautiful landscape. Stay warm!
We’re trying! Thank goodness for the wood stove!
BRRRR!!! I feel so bad about whining that it was in the upper 30s here! LOL! The snow is gorgeous though.
I imagine that’s pretty cold where you are! It’s all relative, right?? 🙂
Beautiful photos. We had some snow last week, but it is mostly gone.
It is amazing what it looks like out there with everything covered in snow.
so pretty!
The snow is very pretty…but it does seem like winter came a little too early this year.
It’s going to be a LONG one, isn’t it?
So far this year we have had lots of colder than normal weather for over a month now, and some small snow events as well. We love it, and wish we had more snow. It looks beautiful there in the woods where you live. Enjoy! Madison
You snow/cold lovers would be SO happy here right now!! 🙂
Wow, it’s sooooo beautiful!!!
If it wasn’t for the beauty, we might be less tolerant of it. 🙂
You must be a bit north of us, as we only had snow for about one day. (which is fine with me) But I know more is coming! The collies will be excited, they love the stuff!
We are in west – central NH and seem to be getting it the worst this year. They keep seeing sun in the southern part of our state, but we’ve been under clouds seemingly forever now!!
We had some snow yesterday as well and today is very cold. I love the snow, but Ruby not so much. I had to coax her out this morning and she didn’t want to go to far.
She’s with our birds….they are not impressed with the snow!
Still Fall here in Pennsylvania too. But Mother Nature has already given us a huge winter storm and it’s snowing today too. Not good. Especially for deer.
I’m sure the deer down there aren’t used to this weather! I’m even worried about ours…if everything gets buried in snow they’ll have a tough time finding food. 🙁
Ducky would LOVE to come play in the snow with you, Luke! (While Shadow and I sit inside with your Momz, enjoying the fire in the stove.) ❤️❤️❤️
That works for me!!
Love, Momz
You look like you were having fun Luke but that does make my whiskers shiver!
Oh, it’s definitely whisker-shivering weather!! 🙂
I’m more the indoor snuggling kind of person 😉
That is totally understandable!!
