After a spell of several dreary days, we were finally blessed with some sunshine!

It went a long way towards cheering us all up! Luke enjoys his walks just a bit more since I’m always wanting to walk just a bit further when it’s a sunny morning!

The chickens take full advantage of sitting in the sun, and in the second photo are enjoying some special treats in the sun.

I am beyond happy about all the daffodil buds we are seeing….I can’t wait for that first one to open! We’ll be sure to let you know when it does!

We won’t discuss the weather forecast for later in the week….for right now we’re just going to enjoy our sunshine and the promise of spring!
We are pleased to be joining our friends at Comedy Plus for the Happy Tuesday blog hop! Please visit them and other blogs through the links below.
Looks like everyone is enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather. We’re half-way through our bulbs blooming. Daffodils and hyacinth are done, zinnia and gladiolus will bloom next.
Only one group of daffodils, the mini ones, are blooming so far! I need to check on my lone hyacinth to see how that’s coming along. It’s all by itself on the side of the house. One of these days I’m going to move it to a better location!
We are looking forward to a beautiful week after a few cloudy rainy ones. It feels glorious, doesn’t it?
It’s been up and down here, but we soak up every bit of sun we can get when we can! 🙂
Its been nice here too…though we did have bad storms come through on Tuesday night…and after a sunny Wednesday, the rain came back. Sheesh! But I got all the windows closed just in time, Hah!
Oh, you were lucky to have windows open! We haven’t been able to do that much yet this spring.
Daffodils!!!! Yipee!!!!!!! And the sunshine sure must put some spring in your step. We have something sitting out there in our forecast too. Let’s all bury our heads in the warm dirt.
Yup, my head is buried now, waiting for the sun to come back!!
What a great day of sunshine.
Good thing we enjoyed it while it lasted, because it didn’t last long!
We’re enjoying sun puddles here too and our weather forecast includes some of that white stuff that we are getting tired of!
Here’s to sun puddles and strolls in the garden soon!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
We got that white stuff too. 🙁 We are SO ready for the sun and warmth to come back!!
We are having sunshine today too…though bad storms are supposed to roll in later tonight!
Hope they didn’t turn out too bad, we got snow! 🙁
There is something very special about spring sunshine. 🌞
You are right. Sun is nice in the winter but it’s that warmth that we get with spring sun that makes all the difference!
What a beautiful sunny day! Always a good idea to enjoy them as they come this time of year :-).
You are so right, since these didn’t last very long!
Luke and his Chick Cliq sure are enjoying that wonderful sunshine!
Good thing they did, because it didn’t last long! It’s been very dreary the last few days. 🙁
The chickens on the porch look so cute.
They always make us smile when they are sunning!
We’ve had so much rain. Today the sun is out, but it’s freezing cold. Hubby is at Costco to stock up on stuff we need and then we’re in for a couple of weeks.
It’s always good to see handsome Luke.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Lovies to Luke. ♥
We’ve had rain, snow, dreary and cold for the last few days now. We really need that sunshine and warmth back!
It’s April, sunshine, snow, rain, a bit of everything, but sunny days any time of the year make everyone happier!
We’ve been on that downturn, and are really missing this sunshine….
that#s what we said too… we will enjoy the 2 or 3 sunny days and are prepared for the sh*t what is around for easter…
Yup, we’re getting that too. 🙁
We had a beautiful day yesterday and today will be a winner too. It’s amazing how much happier we are when the sun is shining! Love that guinea hen feather.
We are still waiting for that first daffodil, and since this post we’ve had snow; not a lot but enough to make it not that enjoyable outdoors. Doesn’t Mother Nature know how much more we need sunshine this year???
It almost seems cruel that spring is here and most of us are stuck inside! All of our parks and trails closed – so it’s a little hard to find a place to enjoy outside without trespassing on someone else’s property – especially since we live in a condo complex.
I agree, and I know just how very lucky we are that we can get outside. But now our more winter-like weather is back so it’s not so enjoyable out there! It seems we can’t win, doesn’t it? All we can do is try to stay sane while waiting for things to get back to normal.
