We are joining Ruckus the Eskie for his Sepia Saturday blog hop. The only rules for this hop is that the photos have to be sepia related and to have fun!
With a new puppy in the house, we spend a lot more time outside these days! We had a nice spell of above freezing weather, so even our 13 year old Kobi wanted to come hang outside with us. While we’re in the yard, he mostly hangs out on the deck keeping an eye on things.
I just love seeing Kobi outside enjoying himself. Other than going for his walks, he mostly likes to hang out inside napping. But if we’re out there and it’s not too cold, he really wants to be with us! Years ago, when we had just he and his sister Maggie, we used to camp a lot. In the evening my hubby, Maggie and I would be outside by the campfire and where would Kobi be? Inside the camper in one of the chairs, watching out the window keeping an eye on us!
These photos are so great, I could see them on a Hallmark card that says “Wish you were here”

You sure are quite the watch dog. I love the variety of sepia tones you used in the first picture versus the others. The capture of now just the dogs, but the background really tells the story!

Thanks, Ruckus! Kobi is a very good watch dog. I used two different photo softwares to try to do the sepia tone, so it was accidental at first to have the different ones, but I decided to keep them….so I’m glad you liked it!

Oh, thank you! We are very lucky to have a large fenced in yard surrounded by woods. It’s great for the dogs.
Very cute! Katie likes to stand on our deck and watch Bailie and I romp around the yard. I guess it is a senior dog behavior.
Yup, I think they like to watch you young ones at play! Maybe they reminisce a bit about the days when they used to play more. 🙂
