I always know when Luke is looking for trouble. He has a certain way of standing that tells me he’s getting ready for some mischief.

While I can’t get him to chase a ball or other toy more than once when we’re outside, there is one thing he would play with every time if I let him.

He is mostly a good boy when he tries to steal them though, he is very gentle and will not bite hard when the glove is on my hand! 🙂

I guess I’m going to have to find an old pair of gloves to keep in my pocket in order to keep him entertained, and hold off that cabin fever if we can!
There’s still time for Christmas shopping, so be sure to check out our 2018 Gift Guide for some ideas!
Glad to see Luke was having fun! Now Ducky knows what to give Luke for a wedding gift if they ever tie the knot. 🤣
At least you know HOW to get him to play and get some exercise. 🙂
True story. I have a friend who had a Labrador and she let her chew on her husband’s old work boots. One day she got dressed for work and when she got there, she looked down at her shoes and they were full of bite marks. 🙂
That is not surprising! I don’t remember ever intentionally letting Luke steal and play with gloves though….he started it all on his own. 🙂
Do they make glove dog toys?? Dat would be a pawesome Christmas gift 😉

The only ones I can find are boxing gloves! Now, if I were more talented, or could actually sew, I could make them myself and sell them in my store, right?! 🙂
xxoo
That’s too funny about your gloves. He looks like he is having so much fun running around in the snow.
It’s so hard to say no to that, especially when he needs the exercise!
Chewies and zoomies! Love it. I tried substituting an item for chewing and the trainer told me I was setting the dog up to snag something unsuitable so I abandoned that idea real quick. The dog in question was already a character, no need putting more ideas in her head, right? 😂
You are so right! I don’t know when Luke became obsessed with gloves, but obviously I should have put a stop to it in the first place. However, sometimes we pet parents do what we have to in order to keep the troops entertained. He just did not get as excited about chasing a ball like his sister Cricket did. LOL
I know exactly what you mean … Bear’s slowed down a bit now, but I know the look and what it means! Nothing is safe!
Some animals never grow up, and that might be the case for Bear!
That’s so funny! bentley used to steal my garden gloves and run with them. Crazy hounds. LOL!
I wonder what it is about gloves! Luke loves my gardening ones too. I need to buy new ones next spring!
Luke your too funny. My gang loves gloves too and will steal them out of my pockets. I can’t believe the snow you have. we don’t have much left.
Yes, Luke will steal them out of my pockets too. I have to be sure to zip them if my good ones are in there. LOL
We don’t have nearly as much snow as we did, and we have rain coming this week, so we’ll probably lose a lot more (then have ice which is the worst!).
Awww…maybe Santa will bring him some gloves 🙂
I’m sure it’s #1 on his list. 🙂
I love it!!!! Yes, keeping an old tattered glove in your pocket would make Luke very very happy! What beautiful snow you have.
We’ve lost a lot of our snow, and we’re supposed to get rain later this week. We are not happy about that!
I found some old gloves, so stay tuned for Part II. 🙂
oh I love it! He does what Dakota does when he gets something he shouldn’t!
I bet Dakota also thinks those forbidden things are the absolute best!! 🙂
What a cutie you are Luke!!! That glove game looks fun!

He thinks all dogs should have gloves in their toy box. You just don’t know until you try it, how awesome it is. 🙂
♥
Ya gotta hand it to Luke…literally! That was a fun romp!
🙂
What a handsome and playful doggie ~ wonderful photos and video!
Happy Day to you,

aka (A Creative Harbor)
Thank you so much, and thanks for stopping by!!
Awww, I loved the video. That music was perfect.
Have a woof woof day, Luke. My best to your mom. ♥
Thank you!!
What a cutie! I’d have to let him play too, when he was having so much fun!
If only I could get him to enjoy more traditional doggie games, like fetch with a ball! LOL
Such a cutie pie! My dogs prefer socks–but not when they’re actually on me, just if I leave them on the floor before making my way to the laundry chute! I hope Santa sticks some cheap gloves in Luke’s stocking!
Luke has been known for sock stealing too, but since I’m a neat freak, he doesn’t get access to them too often. LOL
Lol…He is too funny.
I’m always telling him what a nut he is. I think he likes to entertain!
Interesting. We have no interest in gloves. I guess he is just into finding someone to play with him any way he can.
I don’t know what it is about the gloves, but he’ll steal them right out of my pockets. I’d be happy to play fetch with him, he’s the one that doesn’t want to play with me! LOL
yes that is egg-sactly THE position what brings me in alert position too ;O)))))
So you are predictable as well!! 🙂
