Yesterday morning we checked Sheba’s incision, and the area that had been retaining a little bit of fluid had finally gone down! We decided to let her go outside and play with her siblings. We still had her take it easy though, just to be on the safe side.
Doesn’t she look happy to be out there? On top of that, even though we’ve still been waking up to below zero temps, and we’re expecting two small snowstorms this week, the days have been getting a little warmer. There is hope that spring may break through soon, and we’re all smiling around here this weekend!

(Stupid phone makes it so difficult to write full, intelligent comments at times!) What I was trying to say was that I’m also ecstatic to know that the fluid was low enough to let Sheba enjoy playing outside some with her siblings!

So true! It was so nice to finally get outside without it being quite so frigid out!
Love that smile, Sheba! Glad to see you getting some fresh air, enjoy!
She is definitely making the best of it!
She looks so happy and Luke is like “why is Sheba playing with Cricket and not me”?
We let her really get into playing the next day, so Luke got his turn with her and they had some fun!
She does look happy! We enjoy the cold because lots of sunshine comes with it and pictures of the snow in sunshine make great pictures in black and white. I got to play in the snow yesterday at the park it was so much fun! Love Dolly
You’re right, the sun on the snow makes for some good contrasts for black and white photos. The snow really is lots of fun, and this weekend was finally a little warmer….20 degrees is now considered warm around here. LOL
Yay for Sheba! She looks great!
Thanks!! It’s so good to see her having fun.
We couldn’t wait to get out in the sun yesterday either! Spring is almost here! Great fun photos.
We enjoyed it while it lasted, because winter is back today!
