I know the Momz has been talking about my cancer and how worried she is about me a lot lately. She is afraid every time she mentions how good I am feeling that she is jinxing things. Momz, we dogs do not believe in jinxes. So I will tell everyone how great I am feeling, and share some photos to illustrate it.
The good thing that is coming out of all of this is that I am getting even more spoiled than ever (and my siblings are by default as well). Momz has been cooking for us, and studying hard about what she can do to help me be around as long as possible, while feeling as well as I can. She’ll be sharing more about that with all of you in future posts. But other than that, I am not going to let her dwell on the nasty C word.
For today, I want you to share in my joy, and I’m here to remind you, as well as the Momz, how none of us knows how long we might have, and how important it is to live each day, each moment, to the fullest. Some of you have been reminding Momz of that in your comments, and she really, really appreciates your support. For today, and every day that we can – no sadness – just joy!
Momz was thinking about not doing it, I think because she’s been feeling sad and kind of frustrated lately, but I encouraged her not to skip it this year. So come back tomorrow when Momz takes the Pet Blogger Challenge for 2016!

I love this post. As I was told recently: “There are no guarantees. Just live your life.” Sheba sure is a good role model.

I am SOOOOOOO HAPPY to see you enjoying life, Sheba!! I wish my sweet Callie had been able to fight her cancer much longer, but it wasn’t meant to be. And I’m glad we spent as much time with her as we possibly could – playing, loving, and just BEing. Now her sweet spirit is watching over us and you, like a guardian angel. Your Momz worries and frets about you because she loves you so much. I know because I’m a lot like your Momz in that regard. I think it’s just part of being a “pet mom”.
All those pix are so precious; makes it difficult for me to decide which one I like the best.

You are absolutely right, Sheba. Nobody is guaranteed a day, hour or minute so we need to laugh and enjoy each one! ♥
So glad to hear Sheba is still living life to the fullest. I love that look of contentment on her face in the last photo.

You have no idea how much that sentiment means to me today. I just lost someone close to me. Hold on to your loved ones, and appreciate every moment!

I am so sorry for your loss, Susan. I think it’s a part of life that’s just so difficult to understand sometimes….but we just have to try to remember just how short it can be so we have no regrets. 🙁
Hailey and Zaphod says
Looks like you are just enjoying life! We all need to remember to do that!

Love the pics and the grey face…
Thank you, Gregg! Sheba is 11 years old but her face starting turning at probably about 5 or 6 years old! Prematurely grey I guess! 🙂
