I don’t know how it got to be the last Friday of the month already! I’ve been wanting to join the new blog hop “Pet Photo Fails”, but I need to break my habit of deleting all my bad photos!
While there is no shortage of out-of-focus shots from this photographer, I wanted something a little more fun than just a blurry photo taken by a lousy photographer! I’ve always thought photobomb shots were fun, and Luke was once called our “Phenomenal Photobomber” and the “Photobomb King” (not to mention “Camera Hog”). I went to the archives because I was pretty sure I had a good one from back in December when our beagle Cricket was still with us.
As if it’s not difficult enough to get a clear shot of a dog playing with a toy (this time it’s not the photographer’s fault – sometimes they don’t stop moving!):

Then I get this!
Luke was jealous of his sister and always wanted to be the center of attention (which is one reason we think he’ll be happy as an only dog), so we had a lot of photos like this. It made me sad to think he no longer has anyone to photobomb now. Would this be the end of all pet photobomb shots around here? Will I be stuck sharing nothing but blurry photos for future pet photo fail blog hops?
Well…..maybe not:

Luke has more in common with the birds than he would ever want to admit!
Thank you to our friends at The Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles for hosting this fun new hop. Now to remember not to delete all those bad photos! π
Awe sweet Angel Cricket. I are da same way wif toys and attention so Mama finks I are a good only dog too.
This sounds like fun!!! Mama has tons of Matilda photo bombing me π
xoxo,
Matt (& Matilda)
Hopefully you can join in the hop next month, we’d love to see Matilda’s fun photobombs too!
The streak of Luke – that’s a good one.
Photobombed by birds – I’m not sure that’s very dignified for a cat. π
Heehee, we won’t tell Sam about it. π
Really great photobombs you got there! I will definitely keep the next ones of my Happy and share them as well! π
We looking forward to seeing yours too!!
I think that Luke and our black dog share the jeans for photo bombing. I have a lot of photos just like your first one of Luke’s photo bombing Cricket. That’s hilarious photo! I’m not sure if I’ve kept any of mine but now I see it I should!
Darn β I’m dictating my comments to my phone and it converted “genes” to “jeans”.
Apparently, your phone doesn’t take context into consideration! You should definitely save some of your photos of R photobombing if you haven’t already, and join the hop next month!
Siblings! They’re always all up in your grill! I loved seeing the picture of Cricket … made my day.
I’m so glad you enjoyed seeing her. β₯
I bet Bear and Ellie take much glee in photobombing each other. π
Ha!!! We can all sure relate to the photobombing and blur!
MOL! Those are great photobombs!
And I thought Summer’s susfur Binga was the Photobomb champ. That’s a super great blooper.
Luke really puts his whole body into it! LOL
I delete more photos then I can keep with my 3 babies. These were good ππΆ
I had to start deleting because my hard drive was getting full!! π
Awe, Hi angel Cricket!!!
It was nice to see her, wasn’t it? β₯
Trying to capture a single pet can be a real challenge. But one that is a surefire guarantee for a smile. βΊοΈ
One of the best things about having pets is how often they make us smile, right?
I need to keep this blog hop in mind for next month. I keep most of my photos, including the not-so-good ones. And Ducky, while not a camera hog, does a really good job of demanding our full attention at times.
I love all your photos! That one of the guinea hens photobombing Samantha is great! And of course, I love seeing that photo of Angel Cricket!
Thank you! Hope you can join in the hop next time!
we should have a photo bomb bloghop once… but the photo of Samantha and your guineas is beautiful… as if samantha was on a safari an an eggs-otic land ;O)
You’re right – what a great thought! Sam could be a panther in the safari as well! )
I cannot believe how chill Samantha is around the guineas!
I don’t know if it’s because she can’t see them well, or she just doesn’t care, but it is too funny! And I’m glad for it too, I have enough to deal with keeping Luke away from them. π
Those were good! Dang, we delete our bad photos too.
You’re going to have to stop that and join in next month!
Those are great photo fails. π
Thank you!! It’s a good thing when these photos fit in somewhere!! π
It’s so good to see a photo of Cricket. We only knew her virtually, but we do miss her. And Luke and those guineas are master photobombers! Thanks for playing along with Pet Photo Fails! π
Thank you so much for saying that about Cricket. β₯
We were glad to join in the fun this month, and already have some possibilities for next month’s!
We just heard about this hop on another blog and will definitely keep it in mind for future Fridays. We too delete the bad photos, but will keep some fun bad ones.
I can’t believe you end up with any bad photos – you girls are all such good models! π
