There was no shortage of either at the BlogPaws pet blogger conference. Even if you were not a lifelong cat lover like me, you couldn’t help but be impressed at the number of cats at the conference, or the quantity and quality of cat stuff in the Cat Lounge.
There were cats on leashes, cats in strollers, cats with bling, and cats with dogs. Just when you thought you’d seen everything, you would see something else (be sure to read to the end for my biggest highlight). I’m not sure I’ve ever had a cat who could be as relaxed in crowds as the cats I saw there were. Maybe our late cat Don Juan, who loved everyone he met, feline, canine, or human. He might have been laid back enough, but he was in my life long before I started blogging.
The Cat Lounge was the first place I visited, and wasn’t it impressive! Here are just a few of the highlights:

Cool cat parents need cool gear too, and there was no shortage of that either!

Yes, cats can wear dresses! Just ask Coco the Couture Cat, seen below. I learned from Coco’s Mom Teri what a friendly and easygoing breed the Cornish Rex can be.

For the “Now I’ve seen everything…..” category:

Samson was representing rescue cats and what great pets they can make. He did his job perfectly, he is one cool cat! You can find him on Instagram @samson_speaks.
Come back tomorrow to see some ofΒ the dogs and more at the conference!
LOL as a kid we used our doll clothes to dress the family cat (who was an old Tom cat). We used to walk him around the neighborhood in our doll stroller all dressed up. Who knew 50 years later, it would be the thing to do.
If only you’d known you were on to something, you could maybe be rich now. π
That is some really cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
SO many cool cats there! Many blow my mind with how chill they are. Especially Samson in his sunglasses. I also loved the tabby in the stroller with the two dogs. I believe they are @biancanbella on Instagram.
Yes, that’s right, thank you! I punched it in and followed her while talking to her, and then couldn’t remember the name!
I loved those beautiful wool cat houses. I wanted one even without having a cat!
The truth is, our cat Sam would probably ignore it, but I bet Cricket would like to curl up in there! π
Mom is always amazed at the stuff in the cat lounge. Thankfully she doesn’t force us to go in there with her!
Isn’t there a big sign that says “No dogs allowed?” Ha ha – just kidding! There was quite a few cats in there though, but I didn’t see too many dogs! They all must feel the same as you, Emma. π
That all looks SO cool!!
Looks like a lot of cool stuff, glad you had fun.
The mom says the Cat Lounge was the absolute best this year!
I think they really outdid themselves this time, even though I only have one other conference to compare it to!
These look so cool! I absolutely love pet products!
The Cat Lounge was absolutely terrific and that Samson is one cool dude!
I love looking at all of the cats at BlogPaws. Teri’s have the most incredible dresses that I’ve ever seen. If I am ever reincarnated as a kitten, I want her to adopt me. βΊ
Her cats are definitely better dressed than I am. LOL
We want that fish bed
Lily & Edward
Why can’t little dogs have a fish bed too? Who says they’re just for cats? π (I actually think that same company does make dog products too)
I did not see the cat with the sunglasses. That could have been because I was waiting for someone in the wrong place! LOL Also, I got a really cool Cat Lady art for one of my daughters for Christmas. It was definitely a cool place. Don’t you think we need a dog lounge like that?
We definitely need a Dog Lounge too!
Whoa…those are some amazing products for the feline set! Love those bed nests.
ic love the cool products of karma cat… I wish we could get such fab nests and caves in phenny’s size… or the pink catillac… but probably it would come as a do(d)g-e:O)
There was so much cool cat stuff, wasn’t there? I came home with one of those cat camo shirts and can’t wait to wear it!
Oh, you’re so lucky! π I just might have to buy myself one of those.
