Nellie loves our fireplace and will lay by it to and sit on the hearth and let the sparks hit her.

It sure is! Even the humans are known to sit right on the dog beds sometimes to get the heat (we do refrain from being right on top of the stove like Cricket….mostly…LOL).

We haven’t lit our fireplace in so long! Pierre has never even seen it burning. It just hasn’t gotten cold enough. ☺ I love that tail action!
It’s warming up now, so ours won’t be in use much longer. It can get up to 80 degrees in the house if it’s even a bit warmer and sunny outside with the stove going!
I think one thing Bailie and cat bro Bert love about our fireplace is it is at floor level, so the heat pours right out, directly at them.
Oh yes! Right up front where you get the best of the heat! That tail is saying “I LOVE THIS!!!!!”………enjoy!
