These two are equally stubborn and tenacious, so when Luke has the ball like this, it’s quite the standoff. Neither he nor his beagle sister Cricket want to give in or up. This photo is from Labor Day weekend when I had them dressed up in their patriotic bandanas, and I thought the colors would pop nicely for a black and white photo.
Happy Black & White Sunday, we hope everyone is having a great weekend! We have a fun week coming up with the Positive Pet Training hop tomorrow, including video of Luke doing some nose work searches, and we’ll also be having a review and giveaway of the fun Paw5 Rock ‘N Bowl later in the week!

Love the photo but I don’t know who got the ball! Love Dolly
I’d tell you, but I don’t remember! Ultimately it always ends up back with Cricket though, it’s just a matter of time. Sometimes she’ll pry it out of Luke’s mouth, sometimes she’ll give up and go get another ball. But when he finally drops the one he has, she’ll go back and get it. She doesn’t forget! 🙂
So who got the ball?
I don’t remember! Luke won’t usually give it up when he’s in the mood though, so in this case Cricket probably gave up on it and went and got another ball. Ultimately Luke will get distracted, and she’ll go back and grab it then!
That’s a great pic! Quite the standoff!
Thank you for showing your patriotism. Pawsome photo!
Honestly, I have trouble with 9/11. It makes me so sad that I just can’t post about it. I didn’t lose anyone close to me on that day, but it still hits me hard. But I wanted to do a little something to show my support.
I love their bandanas! Perfect to remember 9/11. ♥
Just our little way of doing so. ♥
Love the contrast with the bandanas. The perfect post for today.
LOL! Love that mischievous shot!
You two look terrific in that action shot!

that is a awesome photo! I love patriotic photos and they hit it off! what program do you use to do the color pop? Or more like how do you get two objects to have color. I still can’t figure that out on my Corel program. I can only do one item in color when doing black and white. Thanks
Thank you! I use the online program PicMonkey for that. When you choose the black and white effect it gives you a paintbrush option and you can paint anything in the photo back to color.
Beautiful!!!! We always remember and we stay united.
