We knew spring was really coming when we saw this:
It occurred to us that Luke was spending much more time outside now that the temperatures have been rising. It was nice to see him really enjoying the fresh air and sunshine that day.

We got several inches of snow last Friday.
We’ll get there though, won’t we? Won’t we?

We do have to admit the in-between time, winter changing to spring, is far from beautiful! LOL

Ah, that looks wonderful!!!! It must feel great to be out in the sun, Luke. Our deck still has a couple of feet of snow on it. Most springs, I ask the husband to shovel a small area for me when we have our first warm and sunny days. It always feels hilarious that the dogs and I are basking in the sun with walls of snow around us!
It sounds like a fun snow fort!! Luckily our deck gets a lot of sun, and we mostly keep it shoveled in the winter, so it clears off early. The patio on the other side (north side of the house) won’t be seen or sat on for quite a while!
Oh my gosh, that’s a lot of snow. Hopefully it melts soon.
The sun is working on it….it’s not getting much help from the air temperatures, but we’re getting there!
How many chew toys has Luke been through this winter? 😉

WOW! You guys really have been getting it. We haven’t had one single flurry of snow, but LOTS of rain. Ugh. Luke did look like he was enjoying himself out there on the patio!

when I see things like this I sure wish we had a house. We have no deck like that for Dakota to lay on 🙁 Just a 2nd story balcony. Maybe if I get the balcony together this summer he could come out with me if I watch him there. It isn’t safe to leave him there by himself.
I bet he’d love at least simply sitting outside with you!

Pups love to be outside and sniffing all the sniffs. Luke is most adorable. It’s cold here and rain is in the forecast for most of the week. Sigh.

We’re supposed to get rain this afternoon; but we’ve had sunshine and comfortable temps since Thursday.
We’ve been enjoying a lot of sunshine, but the temperatures have still been quite cool. We’d almost like some rain so it would wash more of the snow away!

This time of year, even if it snows, one feels the extra warmth of the sun. We all know spring/summer is coming right along.
