This week’s theme for the #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge is “Spring”.
As you can see in the background, our ground is still mostly snow covered, though we are starting to get some warmer temperatures and to see some puddles and bare ground. But there’s nothing pretty about early spring really, and I had to go to the florist and buy these daffodils! I needed some cheering up and these did the trick. I also bought this cute little bunny to add some more color to the display.
And just to prove we really do have some bare ground…..
We’re getting there…..Happy Spring!

Gorgeous daffodils! So what if you had to buy them – they bring Spring into your home and heart.
That last photo gave me a big grin! Even though our daffodils our done and even our tulips are now finishing up your cut flower display cheers me up too. I used to love having cut flowers in the house but Amelia disagrees. She thinks they are for eating.
I’m beginning to wonder if I’m ever going to see my daffodils and tulips in the gardens!
Samantha thinks all flowers and plants are for eating too….I have one stand in the corner of the dining room that is small enough and high enough that she can’t get to them there, so when I do bring them in, that’s where they always go!
Daffodils! My favorite. Love the pictures. We got snow last night!
They are one of my favorites too…I hope to see some in my gardens soon. Oh dear….snow….I hope we don’t get any more this year! But it hasn’t been very warm so we probably will!
I came over from Molly today, I loved that post you shared with us and smile and laughed all the way through.
I am so glad you enjoyed that post, and thank you so much for stopping by here too!
Such gorgeous photos!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thank you, Jenna!
Hope your own daffodils start breaking through soon!
I have one flower garden that is almost clear of snow, so I hope they’ll show up in there soon!
the daffodils are BEAUTIFUL! Can’t believe you still have snow, ours is actually gone!
You are so lucky!!
I’m glad you’re starting to get some bare ground again! I’d love to get a nice spring bouquet, but silly Soth thinks that any flowers I bring in the house are snacks for him, so I’ll just have to enjoy your pictures.
I have one place I can keep flowers….a tall wine rack in the corner of the dining room with a very small top. It’s the only place I can be sure the cats won’t get! I had to give up on house plants after we got Sam…she is also a plant snacker.
Very pretty! Aren’t daffodils just the quintessential sign of spring?! Are the dogs going to miss the snow once it’s gone? (I know you won’t.) 🙂
Daffodils are my favorite sign of spring!
The dogs will miss the snow, right up until we get their pool out and then they’ll be excited about that!
Beautiful flowers, we have no snow even know we got some on Monday it is all gone.
You’re so lucky!!
Those flowers are so pretty…and remind us of spring. All of our snow is gone now…but it’s pretty cold today…and there were snow flurries. We want spring!
Our temperatures are still well below normal, but at least above freezing. Things don’t melt much unless the sun comes out though!
I love Daffy-dillls (my childhood name for them) and bunnies! Cute display! I think I’ll go get a spring bouquet, too.
They didn’t last very long though! I think I’m going to pick up another bouquet of something else spring-y soon.
Spring is such a beautiful time of year. So much new life all around us. Love the flowers – thanks for sharing them with us!
I’m so glad you enjoyed them!
Pretty flowers, very springy! Glad your yard is returning, ours is slowly coming back too.
It’s going slowly, but it’s probably better that way…less mud.
