SPLASHDOWN!!
Sheba and her ball splashed down at the same time! We’ve been sharing a lot of swimming and water photos this summer, so I tried to find something a little different for this week’s #52Snapshots of Life theme of “Water”. We’ve been getting in more swimming than ever this summer, and we’re all pretty happy about that! If you take your dogs swimming, do you need to coax them in by throwing something? Sheba really won’t swim much unless she has something to chase!
Thank you to the The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the#52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. Are you joining in the fun? Photos can be shared via blog or social media, just use the hashtags #52Snapshots and #PBSG. You can also visit more participants through the links below.
I think this summer – ALL the dogs are in the water more. It’s so hot everywhere we turn. My goodness! Jax needs no coaxing whatsoever, he just leaps in with all fours.
Sheba is great at keeping her eye on the ball. And you got a great shot.
Honey will reluctantly chase a ball into the water. But only if it’s not too far away. Her expression looks like “Must chase ball. But hate water.”
The woofies love their water! Great pic!
Great moment captured on “film” !!! My dogs won’t go in the water, although Charlie did jump in my friend’s koi pond a few weeks ago, surprising all of us!!
Sheba looks very ready for water play! Have fun swimming, Sheba! Nice photo!
Great photo and what fun, water time!
What a great picture!
I wish we had a lake nearby to take the girls swimming!!
I’m pretty sure that the only reason a dog will go into the water is to catch something! Love Dolly
That is a wonderful photo!

I am so glad that she is having a great time in the water!
Good water shot 🙂
Ohhh I LOVE that photo!
oh what powerful waves… Sheba yo are like a speed boat :o)
She does leave a wake!! 🙂
Nice! You are lucky you have nice places to swim and you can be off leash.
Sheba is pretty trustworthy, but I only let her off leash when no one else is around (and keep an eye and ear out for anyone coming), and only for swimming, and occasionally hiking.
I have a 30 foot long leash that I use with the other dogs and sometimes with Sheba too for swimming.
Such a great photo! Your timing was perfect!
